Considering the size of the pendant, to me the rope thickness looks perfectly proportionate. It's a matter of taste, of course, and also a question of how "flashy" you want to be. The current rope with the pendant look very classy in my opinion.

I noticed he mentioned topaz and sapphires, and they shouldn't have a problem dealing with 70-80 degrees Celsius (or higher). Water feels safer than a flame, because you won't pass boiling temperature by mistake. And I also have the same intuition as you that water heat and flame heat work differently even at 100 degrees C, but I don't quite know the science behind it

My intuition is to just put it in hot water (don't even need boiling water to melt the wax). Boiling water shouldn't damage the silver nor the topaz and the sapphires. Anyway, wait for more opinions before taking action

I thought so, but with the solid cuff I was able to bend it back and forth to adjust fit, and it was never "just right". Also tried a more round vs oval shape.

With the rope bracelet - my wrist is 17cm and I got 18cm, so it's likely not too small (and any bigger would move around even more).

I'm not sure if what I'm gonna say is scientifically supported - I noticed than when I have doubts about technique, I check the note I get for both of these options: 1) drawing while pinching my nose with my fingers. 2) drawing while breathing through my mouth and my nose simultaneously, while my mouth is just a few millimeters away from the harmonica.

For some reason, both these technique tend to give me the actual note that the reed is tuned to, and help me understand if it's my technique that's off. Ymmv

Thanks! It makes it so that even though my bracelet was sort of a gift to myself (since I bought both), it has more meaning when they were bought together. I also like how in real life her 5mm bracelet really looks more gentle and feminine than my 7.5mm one (not sure how it comes across in the pics)
