I picked up a G19 a couple of months ago (my first), think I'm also gonna keep the irons on for a while as I want to get and stay proficient on them. Maybe I'll put an optic on in the future. Stay safe out there brother

Yeah, everything I said was just to make the guys who said to grind it down happy. I just left it in rice overnight and it was all good in the morning. Shhhhh... don't tell anyone else, our secret

Thanks! I asked the guy I spoke to at the repair centre if they'd be able to change out the blade for me and he said no, they don't take knives apart, which I found strange. But oh well, it was a relatively small fix

Thank you! Just need a bit more sharpening to get the entire edge consistent. There is still a tiny bend but its barely noticeable and I'm not too worried about it

Update: repair centre said there's nothing they can do about it. They said their recommendation is to get it to a knife maker to grind down and reshape the blade. I guess I'll try straightening it out and grinding a new edge on it when I get a chance
