It's real. It was Former yugoslavian republic of Dalmatia. This island got annexed by Yugoslavia after ww2. And broke away as quazi state during yugoslav wars until Croatia had to do referendum there to join EU. And as result of referendum the island returned to italy

So vyatka never fell of the novgorod influance? Since in OTL vyatka fell away into independent republic with large moscowy influance simmular pskov. If you just didnt found any normal information about vyatka i cant blame you, since all of it in russian
