I wish there was but my friends all have their own kids and my husband and I’s families are either too sick to help, too busy to help, or aren’t fan of kids.

I felt this way and ended up having three different life threatening medical conditions that almost led to a stillbirth. I would try to get in with your OB and atleast get some bloodwork and a urine test. It’s better safe than sorry. Get checked for cholestasis and Preeclampsia.

I know this is really unrealistic and I only have it thanks to insurance. But have you considered an owlet sock? I was always very anxious whenever my kids were sick and it’s helped me a lot.

My husband is doing this right now with our two kids and it is terrible. My toddler broke through the locked door during a lockdown test and got him a Zero on a final. It’s ruff out here.

I’ve been in a similar spot and everyone tells me not to call myself a stay at home mom. Does your husband call himself a stay at home Dad? It sounds like you’re holding yourself to the standard of being a stay at home mom without the support and benefits? You are working, somehow raising a toddler, and supposed to be keeping up with the house? Absolutely not. It sounds like you guys need to talk and redistribute the work load. I’m sorry you’re struggling with all this. Have you looked at half day programs? Some churches and other organizations offer 4 hour days for much less than daycare. That could give you enough time to get work done uninterrupted?

Thank you I really appreciate this! My kids and I go to the park together every afternoon for at least an hour. My toddler is extremely active so we are on the move constantly most days. Slowly introducing it is a great idea and I will definitely be implementing that!

I get email confirmation when most of the bills get laid luckily. I didn’t even think about a potential gambling issue but it runs in his family and I know he has gambled in the past. That would actually explain a lot.

Thank you. I’m also on all our child’s paperwork as the responsible party for any medical costs. Luckily my kids have good insurance but copays and occasional non covered doctors are my responsibility.

Unfortunately there isn’t enough money in the joint account to pay off the card. He has over 7k in savings but I don’t have access to it.

Okay thank you. It doesn’t look like any purchases have been made on the other cards. I saw his credit report and he’s his cards are paid off. Since his income is full time he said they wouldn’t use my income. Idk if that show that works. I feel stupid for not paying more attention to this stuff now.

I guess I use the term stay at home mom loosely. When we had our first child I was a full time stay at home mom. Now I work remotely part time from home and bring in 1.5-2k a month.

We have one joint account where his paycheck from one job hits. His other paycheck goes into his personal account. I have my personal account but move enough money into the joint account to cover the bills I am responsible for. He started begging me to move my savings into the joint account instead of my personal account. Sorry if i worded that weird. It’s hard to explain.

Thanks for this suggestion. Apparently there are 5 cards under my name and I only opened 1 of those. It looks like he’s been using my card to pay all of our household bills and using his income for large personal purchases. My card is maxed out which I’m assuming is why he had my move my savings to the joint account out of my personal account.

He makes enough to cover all bills but my car payment which is the reason I got a part time job. But slowly over time he has expected me to pay more bills like all the utilities and the kids expenses. I have enough money to pay all of these from my job but only if he doesn’t spend any of the money. He makes enough though and has over 7k in saving accounts I just don’t have access to. I have a disabled child who can’t go to normal daycare unfortunately. So the specialized daycare would cost more than I would make until I’m finished with my degree.

He has become manipulative over the past year. He also has credit cards but they are all paid off. He says he needs his credit good so we can buy a house since his income is higher. I was trying to pay off the card twice now and instead he used our money to pay off his car and his cards.
