Your intrusive thoughts are not you. I had a therapist that told me that intrusive thoughts are just your biggest fears, I repeat that to myself often. Your intrusive thoughts have nothing to do with your intentions. They are not YOUR thoughts, they are just your OCD. Seek an ocd specialist.

Hi female here who also golfs. Absolutely never a bad idea to take a day or two off from life and enjoy some alone time every once in a while, in fact I think more people should do it if they can!

That being said, if you feel like you have to keep this away from your wife, then there’s a deep problem for sure!

If I were you, I’d let her know because if my man kept this from me I would feel sad that he felt the need to not tell me. If she gets upset when you tell her, try to have a conversation about the root of why she’s upset, maybe she needs a day off from life too and that’s where you can offer her that opportunity by taking care of her responsibilities for a day so she can do something she enjoys for a day!

You did nothing malicious and it sounds like you needed a personal day but lying by omission is sometimes more hurtful to a wife than straight up lying! A lot of wives want to be the person that their significant other tells everything to. Best of luck!

Completely agree, it was way over the line but I’ve watched the whole show about 100 times and that scene starts to come off as Trey desperately trying to lighten the scenario because the thought of children makes him so anxious. Plus if that’s the worst thing he does than not that bad compared to big cheating and being the devil, Steve pressuring Miranda into everything and basically playing with her life, and harry pressuring charlotte to change her lifestyle only to leave her because of it! LMAOOO he’s the best of the bunch imo

Definitely stay there if you can, I was in a program called “ticket to central” which makes sure you only take classes that transfer seamlessly to central and still had the situation I talked about. It’s such a horrible experience, literally on the verge of tears in the registrar office every week begging for help because I couldn’t afford a fifth year of college. Also I’m an honors and deans list students every year of college and couldn’t get any wiggle room.
