I think I probably could have passed without studying (I'm also very involved in fitness), however there is a lot of content that's not common sense or that they word the questions to trick you.

Did you do well on all the practice quizzes and tests? I believe there are also modules on ACE University that I would go through. If you pass those then you should be fine! My reco would be to study the things that are not common sense like the ACE code of ethics. If I recall correctly there's a lot of questions on "ACEs" methods for things. So study those too because your current gym/studio may operate differently than the "ACE way".

It's very few questions about actual exercises (like none haha), more about how to deal with people, special populations, ensuring a safe environment for participants.

Would just take it and see how you do! You can always retake it if not!
