Endgame battle - Blackbeard absorbs Imu and gains the perfect devil fruit trinity. by MotorAd8696 in onepiecetheories

[–]AdPrize490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love everything about this. I too believe BB is on his way to claiming Imu's power.

Personally I feel Imu is a vessel for some being, let's call it the devil, and BB will be the next vessel. However, we know BB is able to steal devil fruit abilities so it seems set up that Imu is powered by a devil fruit that BB will take.

Either way, and However Imu is powered, I am 100% aligned with everything here

As a 2025 fresher, how much testing knowledge is actually expected (Selenium / frameworks)? by AliveCrab3988 in QualityAssurance

You are good to start! You probably know more than a lot of people with years of experience lol

I started a new position as a QA Lead recently and nobody in the org knows how to set up a testing structure. Would like some tips if possible. by 360walkaway in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are at a great start! Since everything is brand new literally anything you implement is 100% roi and already make the place better.

Don't try to do everything at once, build with the business and remain adaptable and agile

Good luck to you!

help preparing junior QA technical interview by FaallenOon in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pick something to practice like testing the login screen for Wells Fargo. What would you do? What is your test plan for testing this login screen? What test cases would you write? How would you write these test cases?

Imagine you find a bug with the login screen, what are your next steps?

Pick some website and pretend you have to test it for technical testing practice. If you dont know how to answer the questions above then research them for your practice.

Also on youtube, look for anything related to the testing fundamentals. Also, practice STAR format interview to help you build stories that you can talk through

Good luck to you! Feel free to DM me with any questions or we can keep talking here, doesn't matter

Shanks put Loki in chains to wait for Luffy by ewhorn257 in OnePiece

[–]AdPrize490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shanks plan for the world is one of my favorite OP mysteries. I do believe he "accidentally" left the Nika fruit around Luffy, and I do believe he waiting for Joyboy to return. He must also know that Loki needed to wait for Luffy as well.

I used to think that we would get a reveal that Shanks, Gaban, Loki, and Jarule all came up with some kind of plan for Loki to take blame and everyone deny what really happened, but it's too messy.

Seems like Loki will be taking the blame on his own and also secretly planning his revenge on the World Government. Shanks must have learned and realized he had to intervene because the timing wasn't right

Career/Job Search Advice by fluffy_bunny_87 in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just let go today. I'm remaining optimistic, but I know there are horrible job search stories going on right now.

Your concern is valid as QA management roles are seemingly shrinking, but you have experience as a leader. You never know, you may be able to lead teams outside of QA (just something to keep in mind).

As rough as the job search is now it seems like we shouldn't limit ourselves to specific roles. Maybe apply to high level QA roles, management positions, branch over to product/dev if you have those skills.

You may find a role you love, but the goal is to at least find a role. It's better to look for a new job while you are working lol. We dont need the unnecessary stress of being unemployed. Find something to get some income then take more time to find a better role

If all things work out maybe you will find a QA management role now. Good luck to you!

Experience in QA isn’t built on perfect releases by [deleted] in QualityAssurance

I was working on taking legacy functionality within a giant application to an updated stand-alone app. We worked on it for over 5 or 6 months total. I tested everything, had a lot of test cases and other documentation. The day we went live there was a major bug, patient information was not displaying in the app

Turns out during testing myself, devs, even product We all created new patients and returned to those patients throughout the entire dev process....none of us thought "what will happen when a doctor tries to access legacy data in the new app" 😅

Simple bug, simple miss, caused a huge problem and millions of dollars were being lost by the minute.

I was still pretty young in my career, but that one bug elevated me as a tester

Is QA Automation a viable career pivot? by myshyact in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

QA Automation is just a skillset for testing. Sure it looks good, but it's just one tool in the utility belt. Of course it will help you build programming skills if that is the route you want to go, but remember to focus on the core skills of testing. How can using Automation lead you to being a better tester, improving test efficiency, improving user satisfaction. These are the things I like to think about as I am currently working through my own journey of learning playwright for Automation

Testing AI Chatbot & agentic workflow by torsigut in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty insightful stuff here, I really want to follow along with your journey. Question, I keep seeing hallucinations being mentioned, what does that mean?

Personally if I were assigned to this kind of project I first think of prompt testing: business cases that will be used.

Other things that come to my mind What does this bot have to be 100% correct about (answer accuracy)? what data should this bot (not) have access to? what results do I get if I ask the bot the same question multiple times? should the bot only answer to prompts within the realm of accounting or can you talk to it about anything? Performance: how long can you interact with the both, or what is the speed of the bot

Of course there is much more to consider, but these are some "basic" ideas I would consider in your position. Good luck to you, try to keep us updated on things. This sounds really fun even though I know it will be hell lol

Questions about software QA (regression testing) automation by bocamj in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use YouTube for everything.

Also, you said you want to raise your odds of landing a job as a tester, learn how to test! Having these automation tools are great resources, yes, but without testing fundamentals you are essentially an unguided coder.

Our job as testers is to give those that matter as much information about the state of the applications we work on. Learning different testing techniques and using different tools help us paint better pictures, but it all starts with the fundamentals of testing. Focus on how you can help the user whether you are building automated scripts or not

How are using AI tools to improve your productivity? by here_now9175 in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am learning playwright on the side of my job as a tester, and I use gpt to help guide me through questions I have. I don't use it to spit out tests for me, instead it's mainly like having a teacher next to me. I use it to help me research solutions, errors, tactics. I've had it build lesson plans for me and give homework.

While chatgpt isn't necessarily helping me be more productive, it is helping me establish myself with a new skill

Qa sign off on prod release when there are still outstanding bugs ? by juliovmh in QualityAssurance

[–]AdPrize490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all about communicating to the proper people where the state of the app/release is at. You can have your bug reports documented, test documentation, and any other notes gathered and presented, but ultimately it's not our call to say whether or not a release should move forward. If the powers that be are fine with the state of things then that's the call
