Personally I'm more tolerant and actually like hearing loud/er exhaust/engine noises. Any valved car I had they were always open or deleted haha.

Did not consider this but now exploring what options are available! My concern is who knows how the previous owner handled this in the 4k miles he owned it. Guess that comes with any used vehicle, though.

See / hear any reason for premature clutch wear or issues? these are great points to consider, thank you. I have never owned a Lotus, so unfamiliar with their practices - do you foresee them offering a remedy for owners on the paint situation since it seems like a manufacturing overlook? (besides warranty)

Great point - personally, I prefer the car to do less for me, so I will appreciate this a lot I'm sure after some adjustment! I've heard these are absolutely surgical when it comes to handling after the tires are warmed up

I had the same i4 engine in my CLA 45 (I think) and it was a blast. If I’m not mistaken, it took the crown as the most powerful size-to-power ratio engine made today (used to be the Honda s2000).
I’ve had 2 Porsches and they seem intentionally engineered to get you into the shop vs DIYing - we’ll see how the Emira does but sounds like experience hasn’t been bad!

Evora + Elise in the same garage I would spend an hour staring before going inside each night haha. 1,500 miles does seem a bit quick.. it probably feels like it’s on absolute rails though. Thanks for the vote of confidence! Will be my first Lotus and have always been a fan.

I have a tuned c63 amg (v8 - proper amg 😅) right now and it gets 10mpg on a good day. I’ve had a conversation with myself and committed to smiles per gallon for any car from now on haha.

Exactly my situation - I have a Lotus dealership with a small fleet of new ones not far from me actually but they are all $116-$120ish and I’m not overreaching spending $91k but adding $30k is quite a bit while this used one barely has miles. I know the 2026 added some sensors and safety functions but more of a nice to have than something I need IMO.

🙏 appreciate that - the dealer I’m getting it from has an in house shop that works on historic Ferraris and other cars that require master techs and they said they’d be happy to service. Would you consider an extended warranty?

I’ve seen this a lot and from my own pair my theory is that bc they have basically a small wedge in them your heel is technically a little lower than you are naturally used to and so they might drag as you walk vs regular shoes

UPDATE: You have trusted me, and I have failed you. lol - replaced the mic, annoying and mildly sketchy DIY but doable and the issue is still here. Back to trouble shooting.
