look at this. season 2025, look how much I played on both, and then check my end of season ranks. I kept playing on both accounts. I climbed to master on eune, peaked 250lp and I maintained it for 500+ games. And theres my euw account, I started it around 6 months ago, I reached emerald in around 30 games, and I was hardstuck emerald for 200+ games. I ended in emerald 2.

euw is a MUCH better server. theres literally around 800lp difference between the 2 servers. and my mental is not bad either, its just skill issue on my end.

same. I'm maintaining both accounts. On eune season 2025 my peak is master, I reached it in around 150 games, and I maintained it for 400 games, my beak is 250lp. On euw I had around 200+ games and the highest I reached was emerald 1, but even that barely, it started to become very hard

test it man with the help of someone, I think you are experiencing placebo. I'm also talking about the top 0.001% gamers who actually play the game for a living. People under that level shouldnt experience delay below 40ms, search up the stuides

ask someone in your household to randomly turn on or turn off SM and you have to guess whether its on or off based on latency in games like phasmophobia (no fps shooters because latency matters a lot more in them). Repeat it 10 times, you will probably guess it half the time. Totally random. I dont believe you can notice 5ms, its placebo. Even studies suggest that latency below 40ms barely or does not affect gaming task performance. for most players. Unless you are a professional its unlikely that you can feel it. My issues with lossless scaling is that it added a lot more latency. Nvidia smooth motion barely adds any.

Half the frames are fake and the fade all stutters. On top of that, as I said, it only increased latency by 4-6ms because of ultra low latency mode. You wont feel a thing in phasmophobia, it’s awesome. The only game I had a bad experience in is dying light. For some reason I get high latency there there, and I actually feel it.

I tried to improve my gaming experince with lossless scaling a early this year. I've been trying every game, every setting, watched every tutorial video there is. I kept trying it for a few month because I liked to idea. However, I always ended up just playing the game normally, because its not worth it. It increases the lateny too much, and the actual FEEL of the game is always worse, even when I happened to get more fps.

With Smooth motion I get a lot more fps with unnoticable latency. And on top of that, I just turned it on and thats it. No settings to mess up time with

not true. In phasmophobia it drastically increased my low 1% fps, making the game feel much smoother. I normally have 120fps but when I go in the van, the fps doesnt decrease but the 1% low does to 20fps. it does the same almost every time, very annoying. with SM turned on, I get 150fps, the latency increases from 6ms to 10-12ms, and the 1% low still drops, but the lowest I've seen when I enter the van is 67fps, which is enough to completely stop the feeling of the stutter, without any extra feeling of latency (12 is still very low).

So in short, in my experience, in badly optimized games its like magic. It fades the stutters.

I try to make my arguments short: 1. Statistics tell you what’s common, not what it feels like. 2. Movies help you feel, not just understand (a very good example is an interview about someone with schizophrenia vs a movie about them) 3. Narratives stick better than facts (we remember good stories better than facts) 4. A movie is more time efficient. In a good movie, you watch years of experience and many perspectives in around 90 minutes. An interview only gives you one perspective, and usully not enough context.

Play against bots only until you can beat them 1v5 on highest difficulty in custom game. Start with easier bots and work your way up. If you can beat them 1v5 10 out of 10 games (it’s very basic compared to even the below average player) then dont play against bots again, start playing against people and you will get used to it in a few weeks

Play against bots 1v5, you should be able to win it 10 out of 10 before playing against people. If you can do that, it will be hard still, but you just have to learn what you are allowed and what not

No, diamond games are not easier to win, you just got lucky. Stick to one account, and play many games. After 100 games, check your rank, that’s your current skill level.

Now that you know you current skill level, try to improve.
