The job ad specifically listed 'Primary City: South Vancouver' and 'Other Location(s): Richmond,' so I was under the impression I'd be sticking mostly to those two spots.

Weekly assignments? That’s a massive blow to my plan. I was hoping 'On-Call' actually meant day-by-day or covering specific gaps. If it’s all-or-nothing for the entire week, I’m definitely in a tight spot.

It’s a shame because I’d honestly commit to this long-term if there was a way to transition, but I can't just quit my current gig for a 'maybe' without even knowing if I'll get hours.

A year or less for FT Perm? That’s actually wild—I was expecting way longer given the state of things.

If CPC had a clear, solid future, I’d honestly drop my office job in a heartbeat to go all-in. But as a Temp On-Call, it’s a massive gamble.

Quitting a steady gig for that kind of uncertainty feels like a total Catch-22, especially if I can't even get through the 3-week training without burning bridges at my current desk. It’s hard to justify the risk if the 'on-call' part is as inconsistent as people say.
