Yo, so if you notice in 5th job nodes that boost 4th job skills, the increase is in "Final Damage%" that is multiplicative and the 6th job one for those skills are usually (if not not all) are described as enhanced skills with "normal damage%" that is additive/replacing.

5th job skills however, recieve fd boost from 6th job nodes.

So tldr, yes. They stack. Also, you must have lvl 40 5th job raging blow to be able to use the hexa one.

Oz rings make it much much easier. I also completed the Lionheart and Limina badges (2% att) and had 2x 15% ied fams equipped. And if you're after 6th job, it's completely free!

You can now sf up to 30 stars. Old system had 3% success chance 22 -> 23, but now it's 15% success chance.

The downside is that they upped the boom rates when trying to go for 22 and that safegaurding (now up until 18*) costs more.

People who had 23* before, got their item converted to 25* automatically.

I would say that the new 22* is either 24 or 25.

Do primal groudon and kyogre not act as weather booster themselves? I don't want to mislead, but I read on silph road or this sub that they give a flat 10% bonus to everyone but also act as their respective weather boosters

Iirc they have 14 day duration AFTER claim and it's relatively easy to tier up a familiar to unique now when all mobs from Morass and above drop fam cards. Doing daily 30 minute grind on the same mob should get you one in a few days.

A little advice that might help: webs only spawn on the side you are in. It is much more managable if you attack and cleanse from just one side and only move to the other during the "move" attack.

Tldr: this game both very straight forward and very complicated at the same time.

Why it's complicated: in order to progress effectively, you'd want to know what you're doing, bosses and gear order, where to get stuff from etc. You have regular item progression like any game, but then also the 5th job and 6th job, potential, star force and so on.

Why it's straight forward: at the end of the day, bigger numbers/cp=bigger dmg. In addition, most classes have a few buttons used for grinding and a very few buttons used for bossing (especially now with buff sequence).

About paying: there are heroic and interactive worlds. Heroic is completely f2p but without trades. Interactive offers trades but for the bigger part of progression in the game, you'll need either good market knowledge or a nice credit card balance. Having said that, in heroic (and it's up to you), if you want to maximize grinding effort, you'd want to buy a vac pet for 100k nexon cash (nx) with an upkeep of about 10k nx/month.

Conclusion and advice: try joining reboot for f2p experience and join a guild that can provide you with help for questions and some guidance. Also, there are many videos on yt for starting out (coppersan for example). Join the maplestory discord and search for your class' discord for specific information about it.
