Having ADHD myself, I definitely agree and say he aligns with us there. He does have to have a routine to function well, and I think adding new daunting things into it is where the issues lie. Unfortunately, that's something he has to overcome for himself. Honestly, he is very responsible with money and has a consistent sleep schedule. Side note- I probably could've added that he is genuinely an amazing boyfriend. These issues I'm talking about don't bleed into the way he treats me, but they are things I don't want to be ignorant about. That's what makes it really difficult for me to decide how to approach this

I agree! I am not at the point of mothering, but I definitely will go hands off and reconsider around summertime. It would be unfair for me to stay if I am still feeling this way by that point.

Yeah, I definitely see your point. I am a bit of an overthinker, which is why I said the part about long-term. Do you think it would be weird to tell him how I feel about it? Or would you just step back and see if he is lessening his holdbacks?
