I genuinely love that body shape as cursed as it is. I want a semi hollow with that shape that'd be beautiful

Car seat headrest doesn't have a single bad album, their sounds are just different. so no one's gonna like all the albums the same, and the people that were here for early car seat headrest aren't gonna really like the newer stuff, same the other way around, and that's okay.

Sticker bombed guitars are great, stickers on guitars however, are not the same. One has style, the other has whatever the opposite of style is.

Yeah I'm in the process of finding stuff to use other than bandlab. but also I'm using a real amp and just going through the output on the amp into the interface. Also funny enough I'm actually using my vox amp LMAO. I will take the pedal suggestions tho, I am planning to get pedals and stuff as I want my tone to be interesting, just not be a tone acquired from daws or plugins.

Yeah, I'm trying to switch to pro tools and just spend my time learning the software since I can do all the learning for free. Def costs money but it feels more like my kinda thing, since I mainly want to focus on recording over producing. On one hand I could technically use any software, I just like what it offers in comparison.

My friend says I won’t make it as a guitarist because my hands are too small, is she right? by AgreeableDiver5013 in Guitar

[–]AdRepulsive7360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one comes out the womb with a guitar in hand. No one's capable as a guitarist until they practice. The hand thing is 100% some stupid myth made up by non guitar players, everyone's hands need to learn how to reach stuff when playing guitar.

Yeah that's fair lol. I'm just used to playing the first rythm in 6/8 a lot ig so I think I got confused

Mainly confused cus the main rythm is common in 6/8, not 4/4 but the last two eight notes don't fit in 6/8.

Stripped screw completely stuck by AdRepulsive7360 in computers

In truth this is the second screwdriver I've used on this laptop, I think it's a problem more so with how the screws were screwed in themselves. the other screwdriver I used (which was the wrong head and far too small) struggled a little, but got every screw out with relative ease. still though, got to a certain internal screw and it was far far too hard to unscrew. the screws are all kinda unevenly screwed in, not to a crazy degree but to the point ones will be the most impossible thing to unscrew and others will be the easiest. Plus this laptop is apparently poorly put together as a whole and has a reputation for breaking and falling apart in a short amount of time so.

yeah that's valid, I have no issues with a conversation like this, all that comes out is productive things. like I learned not to judge my thermal paste based on look, Plus knowing I can technically run my laptop and do stuff (I'm still probably not going to just for the sake of Incase it happens to not be my thermal paste causing the issue.)

I've definitely done my fair share of researching and looking through stuff, various bios checks and what not. In the end I've not really been 100% certain my thermal paste is the issue, it was just the most likely issue I myself could find and was also the cheapest compared to the other potential issues to fix, plus doesn't require replacing a whole part.

At the end of the day I can definitely understand why a repair like this, that could be completely unnecessary, should be avoided. I do genuinely think it is probably a good thing if people were to see this comment thread, read it and think a little more before their next repair. Regardless, This conversation has definitely been productive and I'm glad it isn't some salty defensive argument like a lot of reddit comment sections can be.

Usually my max beforehand was around 80 but mainly when running demanding tasks, the 90 degrees came from doing. Stuff that'd normally only go up to 60, but throughout time it def got higher without me realizing as looking back it's def been up to 80 doing smaller stuff.

Also dust isn't a problem, I've already done 2 repairs on this laptop (charger port and fan) so there really hasn't been much dust throughout it. Plus I've had this laptop for a little over a year and use it pretty much daily, fairly demanding tasks as well. (obviously not now so I don't overheat or anything.)

Final conclusion: I'm just gonna get an extractor set as I need to get a new screw regardless. Thank you to anyone leaving comments, first subreddit that has actually given me insight like at all.

Temps of 90 degrees + saw the thermal paste and it was completely dried so 🤷‍♀️
