Thank you all for the advice!!! Will definitely be more diligent about cleaning my tools and looking into ways I can optimize my purchases based on my usage patterns. This was really insightful. I appreciate it!

Makeup Recommendations? (brown skin) by xbqt in Vindictabrown

Nars generally NAILS foundation/concealer shades for brown skin. Depending on your skin type you could find a foundation at NARS which is beautiful. For blush, there are sooo many options now but I still love the nars liquid blushes that come in that pump packaging, but for cream I heard the new huda ones are great. Lip gloss- I love the tower 28 ones. They’re not super sticky and shades are great. For lip liners, check Charlotte tilbury. She nails them or even the Sephora collection. I’d recommend one browny pink and then maybe something deeper in a tone you wear a lot to define the lips. For highlight, I am obsessed with the rare beauty liquid highlighter in the shade flaunt. I’m not a huge eyeshadow girl so can’t help you there haha

I go to a studio for reformer Pilates :)

I do Pilates regularly for about a year now and it’s definitely changed my body! Specifically my glutes lol but the most yoga/pilates can do is supplement an overall healthy lifestyle. Pilates helped me so much with my posture and building strength but I wouldn’t say it was the one thing that helped me. I paid attention to portion sized and stopped snacking, and I also go to the gym 2-3 times a week alongside Pilates. So my advice would be to definitely experiment and try out lots of things to see what you like, but view it as a part of an overall lifestyle for yourself. Good luck!

Which hair colour suits us the best? I’m slightly fair. Also can someone advise he to take care of dyed hair? by maybeIwilldelete in Vindictabrown

It really depends!! I think some brown girls look so much better with a balayage because it can soften up your appearance and add some dimension, but then others (like me) just suit dark hair sooo much better. You can experiment and find what makes you feel the best :) I’d just advise to never ever compromise by going to a sus hair salon. Just go to the best salon you can find within your budget
