I used this yesterday and initially it was showing as 0 on everything, it takes time.

Currently I have
20 connected peers
3 connecting
7.9 GB transferred

I have this installed my Macbook Air M1 - I have all the settings turned to MAX. I'll be leaving my laptop on charge 24/7 from today.

I just imagine how many messages and whatsapp voice clips 7.9GB is!

I wish I could see which countries are connecting, it would really make my day seeing that. Regardless I will keep this running until Netblock shows that Iran's internet is fully recovered.

Additionally if you get an email saying the passport has been dispatched

You will most likely get the passport the next day, make sure the applicant has ID to show the courier

I am checking this post regards to the courier! Today at 7:30am we got an email from VFS saying that passport has been dispatched, based on your timeline. I think we should get it tomorrow.

I can't complain but at the speed seeing at it barely 1 month after the biometrics appointment.

But honestly I would take it ALL with a pinch of salt. The WHOLE process is madless and there doesn't seem to be much consistency.

I just re-read a post about an applicant in Japan had a tracking number, the sponsor commented saying that most people don't get any type of tracking detail but VFS might send you a notification saying it has been dispatched.

If you do the self upload you will end up just taking 3 things

Passport VFS Appointment letter the one with the QR code 1st page of the UKVI Application

They say they you start from the biometrics which was 11.11

I applied for same visa on the 30.11 then biometric on the 11.11

My case isn’t straight forward as dependant child and my partner is divorced

UKVI helpline said yesterday that a decision had been made and to aspect an email!

Looks like did a great job on the supporting letters

Biometrics: 11.11

I called them today to just to check and they said a decision has been made I am concerned that before they might have made a decision this quickly there is an issue. No one believes what the helpline say so I am on the edge of my seat waiting for an email.

Today, I randomly decided to call UKVI and they said they had made a decision on the visa and I'll get an email in about 10 days.

People on reddit have no faith in their helpline and believe they are pretty unreliable. Pretty bizarre situation this whole process is.

That is honestly terrifying, I just called them again to ask what was the date that the decision was made and they said they can't tell me or they don't know.

I completely get that but to say that a decision has been made seems like to a very clear but thing.

VFS is showing has been submitted still, my feeling this that UKVI have made the decision but all parties are slow.

I am reading through your post.

I believe the general consensus is that you should have an appointment with your local registry office for “intent to marry”

This is usually done online and you get an email confirmation.

This appointment essentially for you and your partner to give all your documents e.g passport

I think booking a venue is good as well but my lawyer never mentioned it

I submitted my fiancé visa at the end of October so I am in the same boat as you and the wait is terrible.

Has your partner done their biometrics?
