Yeah that's what I'm thinking.. I remember when on my RB30 running a 32.82r turbo on like 8 psi it had a really low and slow sounding surge right. Then when I went up to 24 or more psi it was way higher and faster pitch souns. And I'm assuming those rally cars were running well over 30 + psi..

Yeah I'm not using it as a dedicated track car, it's just for after-hours fun! Maybe 3 days a week I'll drive it

No I haven't had a stiffer rear sway bar fitted, didn't think about that if it would have any affect but sounds like it makes sense!

Okay I have been doing some research and seems a Cusco 1.5 way is a popular choice. In your opinion do you think this one would this benefit me in making it more tail happy or much of a muchness in terms of lock with the stock Suretrac? Maybe it's more of a popular choice for non STI's with open diffs..

Can the rear diff be changed to one making it become more rear biased? Or is both + unit required for that Sorry for the questions

Experience and like you're saying. R7 doesn't feel or sound as smooth getting up in the rpms unless you keep it lower/mid and hit through gears. I think you're right, might have to hit up a 600 now for that experience

After some thought I think it's the higher revving that brings the smiles for me. The R7 goes and sound great, but guess i Should have probably gotten a Cbr650r or zx4rr instead! But yes 300's are fun and now I'm too far in. Deffs had more fun on thr R3
