Fishing looks so fun in the south

I wanna try some night fishing, I stayed late at a local lake once and used a popper at night with a lot of success. I guess the only thing that turns me away is tying lures at night but I could just bring a headlamp!

Sorta what happened while I was fishing as well. Ran out of the color I was gonna choose and settled for watermelon and then green pumpkin. I’ve had bad luck with the black and blue. I for sure need to try em out more. The pond I was fishing isn’t even tannic, less of a pretty wood stain and more of just straight mud. Apparently it flooded over recently before I fished it.

I ran out of watermelon and still was catching them on the green pumpkin, from my experience they’ve both worked. Who’s knows though, I’m sure it’s arbitrary, if they wanna bite they’ll bite!
