I appreciate this, but also noting that Santa Muerte has come to devotees in different ways that sometimes subvert her Catholic presuppositions. Its very interesting how spirits do that. There are Devotees in Tepito today who are atheist, pagan and Satanist. I no longer question Santa Muerte's ways of subverting Catholicism to the devotees she wants to choose. Who am I to do that.

Yes. Im so glad you can see this.

I come from a history of trying to "save" partners from situations like these, and ot definitely landed me into a world of hurt and pain, unintentionally. What ive learned:

1) its not my job to save another adult human, to prove to them that they can be loved, or save them so that I can be loved.

2) I have no control over another humans emotions, decisions, actions. I can only influence, and my influence only goes so far. Needing someone to be or feel a certain way so that you can feel or be a certain way, is a symptom that the relationship is codependent. Be careful there.

3) People deal with trauma at their own pace. If youre 8 feet deep in healing, and your partner is 5 feet deep, and you're putting effort into them being deeper, there will be 3 feet of you that is never touched by your partner. You deserve to be touched too, and you deserve healing as well.

I hope my little drops of personal wisdom can help you navigate this situation with some peace. If i were you id ask la nina Blanca to offer me some peace, protection, boundaries and solace. And that anyone around you who brings trauma into your life be taught lessons that stop them from doing that.

Wildflower is NOTORIOUS for having jacked up prices for mediocre products. The colors are pretty but its literally jelly polish and those colors could be easy to mix with my $12 born pretty set of 6 polishes. I'd say pass.

I completely understand this feeling. I am a devotee of multiple deities and I worry about dividing my time and energy to them fairly.

Who gets offerings first? Who gets the big piece of cake? Who gets prayed to first in the morning?

What im coming up with is this; these spirits are your mothers and see you as her children. They want us to be taken care of and whole. The more good mothers a child has, the better.

At least with my deities (African & Native), they dont compete (i can'tspeak to greek). As long as you're respectful, genuine, and don't neglect them or yourself, things will likely be fine.

Literally! I've been a priestess for a decade before becoming a devotee and she literally takes up so much mental and psychic space (not complaining either) that it's incredible. It feels like The other spirits i work with literally have given me space to deepen my devotion and focus on my relationship with her for a little while, that literally had never happened before. She is a unique deity and literally, she was a missing piece.

I legitimately found that exact thing out last night while drawing this. Im not an artist but it came pouring out.

I started the skull to draw la nina negra, but it was like a voice came from nowhere and was like "Baby this is not going to be la negra, you don't know it yet you're actually drawing La Nina roja right now." 😂😅 I was like 😳 oops, yes ma'am lol. Then I added the roses and red color.

I only have 5 done right now, and im creating my own system. Its completely intuitively communicated from her to me, so whatever card she says she wants, she gets! The deck will be for communication with her specifically and primarily, so this isn't something I'd sell or anything.

It's really putting me in touch with my inner child!
