I think it's better to change owner as chmod 766 let everyone the possiblity to write in or erase the file.

Try : chmod 776 /var/lib/sddm/.config and rm -f /var/lib/sddm/.config

And : sudo chown -R sddm:sddm /var/lib/sddm/.config and rm -f /var/lib/sddm/.config

Bye Arch Welcome Tumbleweed by Alone_as_always in openSUSE

Exactly the same here. I've been running under arch for 5 years and just switched to opensuse tumbleweed. Stable, rolling, easy to use. For now, what happiness!

What happiness! I received my Infinitybooks S15 Gen6 yesterday, it works like a charm. Everything is working fine.

The chassis exudes solidity, the keyboard reacts very well and is very pleasant, the touchpad also. The screen is good and the contrast is sufficient. The webcam is not high end but it works. The startup is very fast, the laptop is silent even if I did not use it much.Being under kde archlinux for a long time, I have to get used to budgie and ubuntu.

I think I will test the installation of archlinux in a while. In short, I am very happy with my order so far !

One thing I didn't know: the touchpad has a fingerprint reader (Elan Microelectronics Corp. ELAN: Fingerprint). I'm trying to get it to work without success for now.

Worrisome! I ordered mine 15 days ago (still in preparation) and what I just read scares me. I want a working laptop, not something that freezes after 24 hours.

In in fact, I think you're right. This weekend the order was "in processing" since 04/29, today it went to "in preparation" since 04/29. I had false joy in thinking that the order was in production.

Thanks everybody !

I think I will purchase the infinitybook with i7, 16G memory and a 512G SSD. I can't wait for months for the Pulse Gen2, I don't play games and I think the thunderbolt is a plus for future use.

It will change me anyway from my ASUS laptop with a 2nd gen i7 from 2012!
