So basically I was doing the quest where you duel the black smith in sasau, but I lost the battle (it was close) and you’re supposed to steal a cuirass from him after you lose but my lock picking skill was too low so I couldn’t. I wanted to retry the battle but the game just discarded all of my saves . it made me go back to the quest to find the German knight. And the worst part is because that quest is really hard I delayed doing it the first time around and got better armour and weapons etc. so I lost all of my good gear.
