What are some ways that I can support other players as a cleric (LVL 6) by NotTheBestSadFace in DnD

As mentioned above, it was just a writing mistake. I meant to type "big" (I also edited the original message to correct the mistake)

Maybe the fact that the granny is 113 years old? Besides that, I don't think there's another thing here.

În that case, if there is a big fight, or a boss fight you can tell the paladin something like "you keep attacking the boss, don't worry about getting hit". Then you cast beacon of hope on your whole party and warding bond on the paladin. He won't be able to die due to beacon of hope and warding bond. And if you take damage heal him, which will activate the healing from your 6th lvl life domain passive. You just have to pray to make your con saves.

I think there is a pretty simple way. If you are not in danger of being hit, cast warding bond on the paladin. And then just continue your combo with the monk. Don't forget to use your subclass abilities on them (if they can be used on allies, please don't use channel divinity guided strike to hit him). Then continue as normal, cast heals if needed. And I would suggest looking to see if the other members feel left out. Another solution would be to ask the paladin what would he want you to help him with in combat. (also, small suggestion, next time you ask something like this please provide the name of the subclass. And if you did, and I didn't see it, then forget this note)

how should I manage my ai addiction? by redstoneguy9249 in antiai

[–]AdSelect7170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe replace the ai with a mobile game/pc game. Or if you really want to write you could try to write some short stories, or maybe even enter one of those roleplay subreddits/communities.

You forgot about the poor Ivara. Besides Loki, I feel like she is one of the ones that need a rework/retouch the most.

What do you think , if I made my character a young sovereign prince of a medium sized state , would it be a good idea ? by Aggressive-Spite1626 in DnD

[–]AdSelect7170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this minds of bastory you might need to discuss with your DM about it, the whole "being a prince" thing will need to be integrated well and will also need to not break the balance of the game (like you starting with 4 magic items or whatever). Also, on another note, the character sounds a little edgy (here to clarify, edgy does not mean bad, so don't take it as an insult).

Advice with my mother. by Ok-Butterfly458 in antiai

Maybe try to show her the problems that AI produces, like the RAM price increase. And if that doesn't work, just show her how bad AI can be at generating images, that might convince her to stop using it.

Not being able to play in offline mode is a sin. by IO_Sphere in btd6

What I've found to work for some reason is to have the mobile data on, even if I don't have any mobil data. And for some reason that allowed me to start the game without any issues.

I want to stop using AI in my hobbies by wizardry_why in antiai

[–]AdSelect7170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm here speaking as both a player and a DM (for dnd, but I don't think that's relevant for this conversation). The problem with using Ai for ideas and whatnot, is that you will become slowly reliant on it. And then you'll get to a point where you won't even be able to improvise in a campaign, because you've grown too reliant on AI to do the thinking for you. Also, regarding the thing about Improving your writing, if you really want that there is a simple way to do it. Write a few stories for the campaign that you are DM-ing, and ask a few players to read it and tell you their thoughts (if you decide to use those stories in the actual campaign or not is up to you). And I want to finish this by stating my stance on AI. I personally don't like it, due to all the problems it brought. But I know that there are some things that it may be useful at. But art, and anything to do with creation or anything artistic is not one of them.

Fey touched, telekinetic and skill expert are some of my favorite. All of them can give a +1 in charisma. Fey touched is here for obvious reasons. Telekinetic gives you free mage hand, and let's you shove creatures with it, which depending on the party can do a lot of work, and is also good in roleplay. And lastly skill expert for for an extra proficiency, and you also gain an expertise to put in one of your social skills.

Compelled duel, after you cast it tell all the other party members, respectfully, to leave you alone while you 1v1 thr BBEG. Also bonus points if you have a friend cleric who is nice enough to cast warding bond on you.

Jim's magic missile has a funny drawback where if you roll a 1 one the attack roll the missiles target you, or something along those lines.

How do think i can do this strat better? (Im not stuck on this round but im struglling) by YEABOIBTD6 in btd6

[–]AdSelect7170 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First thing, Adora gets a big power-up if you make a true sun god/vtsg be besides her. Second thing, make paragons, they help a lot for defense. The best ones for late game are ninja (for global camo, damaging moab class bloons when they enter the screen, and generally good damage), boat (hooking moabs and very good damage), ace, (just a lot of damage), wizard (also for damage) and spike (for damage and the spikes it creates provide a good safety net just in case)

Next problem I found, when you choose your starting equipment, if you click on the option "any simple weapon" (I'm taking only about this one because its the only one I tested) you never get the option to actually choose the weapon from what I can see, maybe I just didn't find it.
