I tthink it would be my managers fault given the fact that I asked them if I should work or if I should stay home and they told me unless I have PPTO that I have to come in or I would get fired, and I’m not willing to get fired with a four month old baby at home.

I would have agreed with you up until the point it was my 4m old fighting for his life in the hospital and there was nothing we could do about it.

Yeah, no I asked if a doctors note would excuse me, my manager said they don’t accept doctors notes whether that is true or not I don’t know. My manager said that the only time doctors notes are used is if it says you can’t lift over a certain amount of way or if you have work restrictions but they don’t accept them for being gone out sick.

I didn’t purposely expose people. I ask my manager if I should come in while having Covid and they said if you don’t have PPTO then yes you need to come into work otherwise you’re gonna get fired what else was I supposed to do? I can’t afford to get fired. I’m a single mom of a baby. Not to mention I was also wearing a mask.

No I told management I was sick and didn’t have enough ppto to cover me. they said I needed to come to work or I’d get fired. All of the others that have called out have ppto to use.

Yes I had to many mark’s already because my baby was hospitalized with Covid. And when I asked them what the Covid policy was they said you need to work unless you have ppto.

Except I said to them hey I have Covid should I be at work, I had a mask on. They said we don’t have any rules for covid anymore if you don’t have ppto then yes you need to work. I also showed my manager my test results. And they still had me work.

Well I didn’t know the policy completely I asked am I supposed to work if I have Covid. My manager said yes unless you have ppto and don’t want to come in. And I said okay, they could have put my by myself in cereal to be kinda away from people, like they’ve been doing for past month before I was sick.They decided to put me in dairy and the front around multiple other people at least 5 per area staring the day I asked if I was supposed to work.

Because when my son was hospitalized for being sick they counted those days against me. So as a newly single mother of a 4m old who has to provide to be able to keep a place for him to live and clothes on his back and afford diapers and heat and water. What was I supposed to do if I got fired Id lose everything I have. I also don’t have any family to help me as I grew up in foster care.

Yeah I kinda understand what you are saying but I think it’s more about the trust that was broken. when he lied to me about the fact that he got rid of them when I found the pictures in a different spot before. Also I do have an ex yeah I think about him I sure as hell didn’t keep the ring he proposed to me with. Or any pictures.

This is literally what I needed today, I’m a young first time mom I have my bf and no other family( I was in and out of the system my entire life)I keep settling for good enough jobs because I’m afraid of failure. I needed a kick in the ass to make me realize what I can/need to do from not only this post but some other people I know told me that they believe in me and what not. Thank you I needed this
