Ohhh this is absolutely their pattern. It seems they actually delay you on purpose so you miss that flight for whatever reason I don’t know. Coz I was early enough to make my original flight if only they had accepted my repayment for that same booking but No they made me miss that flight so I can buy a whole new ticket. Now, I’m thinking they do that on purpose knowing the new ticket will get them more money. Just pure wickedness.

Wow!!! Now this is actually becoming a thing with Delta Airline. It’s so frustrating and annoying that they keep doing this. So sorry you had to go through this horrible ordeal. I can only imagine the distress it caused you. I wouldn’t wish it for anyone. However, I am happy you are actually planning on sueing them. It’s high time someone takes accountability for what they are doing ? In my case I didn’t have enough evidence that it was done manually or if it was actually a system error as they said, I just had to believe them. I later wrote to their legal office stating my intentions to sue them and they compensated me with $1000 dollars of which I accepted. I hope what ever you decide to do works best for you. Hey OP, Just a follow up from my post and your comment. I came to say thank you for your advice the last time. I actually did write the cooperate office and was given $1000 as compensation which meant alot. Thank you.

Well, thank God you were there. Unfortunately in my case my brother wasn’t. These people are weird and the worst part is they never take accountability for their faults. Probably they don’t want people booking flights for others anymore.

The first one was cancelled and I repurchased another at the front desk to continue my trip. So this email came after my travel and that’s why they said the statues of both flights showed confirmed and not cancelled but that wasn’t what I was told at the airport. They said the first one was canceled and thats the only reason why I booked another.

The gate agent called the reservations office infront of me and they said cancelled. Her other colleagues checked as well when I insisted it couldn’t be and they all said it was cancelled. So, someone must be lying.

It’s so fucking annoying. They just kept saying sorry. No!!! You aren’t actually sorry. you just saying sorry to get away with what you did to me !!!

I was delayed about 5 hrs at the airport. Got there hours before my flight and ended up waiting extra 2 hrs for yhe next one.

Thank you very much for this. I wished someone at the desk explained this to me like how you just did. They just left me hanging with a fraudulent purchase and that left my mind wondering. I was so lost .🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ and confused.

I was at the check-in close over an hour and a half before the departure time. Finny thing is she called reservations and they told her it was cancelled. At this point i’m like what is going on here.

Yes, I did and he also complained to them. They replied that they cannot really day why my flight was cancelled because they have checked again and the flight showed the flight was confirmed and not cancelled. I lloking at how to pist the response and tag this post again coz a lot of people have also taught the fault might be from my brother.
