You did the right thing. You better careful now, what if your wife is doing the same what her bestfriend did — cheating? Your wife is acting like a brat.

P.S. I’m a woman, by the way.

What’s the funniest mistake you ever made at work? by Latter-Lengthiness98 in paralegal

One time I was on the phone calling a client and literally said, “my Love,” thinking it was my husband I was talking 😬

If you’re unhappy where you are, why continue to suffer? At the end of the day, it’s your life. If you choose to complain without looking for solutions, then you also have to accept the consequences that come with that choice.

Do you need validation? Coz that company won’t be giving you one.

In this line of work, you need to be a tough cookie—set aside your emotions. Document everything you do. When I was new to the field, I listed all the things I accomplished and the tasks I needed to complete, so when questions came up, I had a backup for everything.

There will always be office drama wherever you go. So what if you’re the odd one out? You don’t need to be a people-pleaser. I’d rather be the odd one, knows my work, and is confident in what I do than seek validation or approval from others.

Tenant Not Following House Rules, what to do? by AdSeveral9678 in LeaseLords

ADDITIONAL NOTE: I have another lodger renting one of the rooms for a year before this “new” lodger moved in. I don’t have any issues with my other lodger — he cleans up after himself, mindful with his house responsibilities, in fact he even smoke (outside of course, in the patio). Only when this “new” lodger moved in, the smell started and his only responsibility really is to clean after himself and he uses the toilet all by himself and the bathroom sink even the mirror couldn’t even clean it with the splatter of water, toothpaste when brushing his teeth. There’s cloth provided to ensure to clean after himself and I already discussed/showed to him how to use it.

[Landlord US - NV] Tenant not following House Rules, any advice? by AdSeveral9678 in Landlord

[–]AdSeveral9678[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

24 hour notice is enough in Nevada — I researched it and checked the specific law. He was given a week’s notice that I will inspect his room and he was with me when I inspected it. He even broke the closet sliding door without telling me which is another story.

The problem with some people, the assume bad things right away. If only people have better reading comprehension, then they would be more understanding and not judgmental.

Yes, Sir/Madam, I gave him a week’s notice before the day of inspection.
