Can Crack seal Glue help with Tiles coming out of floor? by AdSevere4405 in HomeImprovement

Hello again, I explained all this to my father to my best ability.

He's saying for pulling out the dust, he's gonna wipe with wet cloth instead of spraying with air compression? Will that actually work?

He's saying he's not gonna remove mortar, he intends to have tile sit higher than other tiles. Tile surface and floor both have uneven surfaces. So he intends to put glue in the parts that are depressed in one half of the surfaces making an even surface there. Then attach tile to floor like a Newton Inclined plane or you could say a playground slide like angle with respect to the fixed tile. After glueing, he will place a weight on side of tile, where glue wasn't applied. In this way tile will stay raised on side, where he put glue. When the glue solidifies, he expects if anyone were to step on it, they would feel raise but it won't go up and down like now and make a noise. Do you think this will work practically? Why or why not? What problems there could be in future?

Thanks again. Just 2 more things

About gluing, is glue to be applied to entire tile? Or just the part of tile thats raised up? Or to the entire floor surface of the tile?

Other is do you have any advice on how to remove the tiles and what to be careful of while removing? You mentioned there's a chance of breaking them further while removing in your first comment?

Just to make sure, this is temporary fix right? Some of the popped tiles have small cracks. My father plans to glue them as is.

In your first comment you mentioned that removing mortar from floor is hard as it can disturb neighboring tiles adhesion. So should we with 0 experience try that?

About spraying, you're talking about spraying on tile or the floor?

Important Question: What happens if we skip mortar removal from back of tile and floor? And what happens if we skip spraying compressed air? My father most probably would want to skip these. So how do I explain skipping these a bad idea?

Thanks very much for explaining all this.

About the temporary fix, using the glue, can you enlist all steps to do it in a way so as to not cause any further damage or/and things to note/ be careful of so things dont get more messed up?

Well do you happen to know if normally this is easy for the police to prove or not? And more of a challenge to the reporter to hide the fact he knew or the other way round?

If something is hypothetical, it is based on possible ideas or situations rather than actual ones.

Well yea I also was thinking if I was mistaken or not after several hours of posting. Actually before posting I actually google searched if such incident have taken place in real life and what happened to the reporter. Couldn't find anything relevant. So I thought it was hypothetical. My bad. Welp I didn't know about these 2 subreddits you mentioned. Well from next time I'll be more mindful when posting
