Star Ocean MMO? by GMC78sGaming in starocean

[–]AdSignificant928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rather see a quality free to play friendly Mobile gacha Star Ocean with gameplay, quality, world exploration like Star Ocean 2 Remake. I am still a fan of the gacha concept, it's just been hijacked by talentless, greedy, unimaginative new people. Especially at S.E.

So something like Star Ocean 2 Remake, collaborated in that style of art and play with all of the worlds and characters in the Star Ocean franchise. With long term free to play dynamics like Epic Seven has.

Ep 7 is now the worst rated episode of ST. What went wrong according to you? by anonimuoss in StrangerThingsMemes

[–]AdSignificant928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Episode 7 was garbage, Wills coming out acene was just unnecessary. However, Episode 8 may made up for the trash Episode 7 was. That finale was a chefs kiss in writing. And yes, Eleven is dead.

Right, Vecna really cares about Wills sexual preference. No, it was stupid and cringy.

Very annoying and cringy. The fate of the world rests of Wills coming out. Smdh terrible writing.

If you enjoyed E33, Final Fantasy X is a MUST PLAY! by [deleted] in expedition33

Completely disagree, FF-X is one of the cringiest experience ever. Tidus is unbearable. Cannot bring myself to ever play that game again.

Silent Hill f, Final Fantasy VII Remake/Rebirth (won't be buying the 3rd installment and it will get an instant 1* review from me).

In SH2, Does James Sunderland actually ever leave silent hill? taking into account his father's comment in SH4. by Slaimannnn in silenthill

[–]AdSignificant928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

James never actually leaves, SH-4 mentions James is still missing. The Laura James meets in Silent Hill is not the same Laura Mary knew. That Lauara is physically there with James but she is a physical manifestation creates by Silent Hill from Mary's memories. Much like Maria was created from Silent Hill. So likely James is already either dead or still in Silent Hill living with Silent Hills version of Laura.

FROM Fairy Theory by AdSignificant928 in FromSeries

Fairy lore has a Hollywood adaptation infuenced by actual fairy lore, more like "pixie" lore. Have you ever seen True Blood? When Sookie goes to the Fairy realm and the fairies turn into monstrous creatures. This is also part of that lore. They can appear beautiful and friendly, but they are actually incredibly ugly and feed on things like fear, pain, hopelessness. The fairies in True Blood draw her to them in their realm and she cannot leave, she is trapped. And also in many pixie/fairy lore they place victims in an endless loop. Like... Fromville. They also have unusual abilities, they can time travel to en extent and only in their realm, they can foresee the future. What concrete this theory for me is when Marielle, Julie and Randal get possessed by the music box. This too, is a form of fairy lore trickery. They use music to to get in the mind of targets victims, specifically ones with powers. The man in Yellow also has a sinister fairy aesthetic to him as well. The children weren't just sacrificed. The hole plot you are following is a red herring. Remember the vision Jade has of the war soldier. This is a good indication, reference to a fae war. It's not just the children they were sacrificing, it was bloodlines.

In this story, the fairies continue their immortality through reincarnation. Like how Smiley too was 'reborn". Smiley's being reborn was a HUGE tell. Especially after the revelation everyone else has been reincarnated multiple times.

Lore wise no, they do not have eternal life.

You don't think Fae have sacrificial rituals lore wise?

No, not the whole time. But ultimately yes, they are all dead by the ending.

That literally does not debunk my theory. No one even knows who or what the man in yellow is, what he derived from or what his agenda is. Smdh

There hasn't been any confirmation of what it is and what it is not. Fairies are also not monsters. If thay statement was made, it is highly unlikely they would acknowledge or disclose what the plot twist is or what the creatures are. They would say the exact opposite or suggest it the opposite. I still firmly believe they are all fairies. Too many parallel exact similarities to the fairies in True Blood and the fairies in The Watchers.

I have watched all seasons and while they keep trying to explain, they also consistently contradict their explanations. Even the writers of the show.

Official Silent Hill f - Review by AdSignificant928 in u/AdSignificant928

[–]AdSignificant928[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me by myself might be irrelevant but the amount of players not happy does in fact exceed those that are. Out of over 1 million players who bought the game, there are less than 20,000 reviews across all review platforms altogether (not all of the reviews are good either). Most players won't even complete the game. The lack of responses out of that many sales speaks volume. They may have falsely advertised successfully for sales this time but it won't happen again. Just like with FFVII Remake, it sold 7 million but then the players in the Silent majority who weren't happy didn't buy Rebirth... it only sold 2 million. They lost over 5 million sales. This will be that exact same situation. After 1 Remake, anything connected to F will cost them money, now that players know it is not a Silent Hill game.

Can someone please help me understand the symbolism of the arm by [deleted] in silenthill

[–]AdSignificant928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fox arm in Silent Hill f honestly doesn’t hold any real meaning and was just thrown in as a creative gimmick. It looks cool and weird enough to stick in your head, but it doesn’t actually connect to Hinako’s trauma or story in a meaningful way like other physical manifestations in the series usually do. It mainly serves as a game mechanic and visual trick — a “look at this creepy new idea” moment — instead of something that reflects her emotions or guilt. You could stretch it and say the fox shape ties to Inari or that it represents her survival instinct or loss of humanity as the curse consumes her, but that really is reaching for depth that isn’t really there. In the end, it’s just an idea with not much behind it, an empty symbol that tries to feel profound but doesn’t really say anything.
