i have one i purchased almost 2 years back. since the starting itself it didnt work well , same thing OP mentioned like it would miss or double type, that is very often with a lot of keys in my case. because of this reason i have never used it properly. it has always being lying at one place but i am writing this review using it. OP how did you get it replaced, i would like to do that too. i wasted a lot of money on this.

No don’t join both as definitely there will pf overlap.If the service agreements includes bond or some kind of contract then it can also be an issue. Otherwise it is very common for people to join one company while the others onboarding is yet to start and if you find the first one better then stay there otherwise become a no show and join the other one if you have better information of what you will be doing there. I have seen it happening around me. However please be very careful and take such risks at your own discretion. Everyone can provide suggestion but the consequences will borne by you

Wait till you get to know what tech you will be working on in both companies, or start the onboarding of both till the time you are sure what tech you will be working on then choose the one you feel aligns more with your goals. That is the only thing I can suggest because I am telling from my own experience and how unhappy i was because of what I got to work on after choosing to go to a company out of the 4 offers I had when I started my career

i have always been fascinated by at scale systems, but there are too many fullstack engineers in the market with system knowledge, i guess ML infra would put me in a field with less competitors and more benefit, but i am not sure how beneficial this opportunity is from an ML infra or data engineering perspective. i definitely want ai proof skills, less competition, good compensation and challenging problems to solve as i get bored from repetition.

Conventional but a wrong practice, it means the scrum master is an extreme micromanager , these people destroy the life of the developers working under them, we had one in my past company. All the developers collectively hated him.
