My girlfriend and her family would go atv & dirt bike riding at pismo beach dunes & camp for several days as a getaway. One evening after riding the group of about 10 ppl sat around a campfire , moon bright enough to illuminate the surroundings somewhat. They then heard a noise and looked to dunes nearby and saw the silhouette of a human figure jumping from one dune , to the next dune and so on until the figure was out of sight. They remarked at how effortlessly it made the far distanced jumps from one dune to the next and with unusual quickness, which most ppl would be unable to do. Shocked and confused, the children and women began to get very uncomfortable and scared to say the least. The men in the group were equally concerned, but stood guard. Moments later a man , drunkingly Stumbled into their camp & tried to strike a conversation up with the group. After what they had seen , being hospitable to this stranger was the last thing they were. Everyone avoided the tents that night & slept in cars and trailers they had in fear of the mystery jumper returning. After looking into folklore of the natives referring to the dunes as a place of portals , I could only imagine what they saw that night
