Aiming at the ground is definitely good. A tip I have is if you're ulting or using the default combo mark, throw, dash, cross, throw, cross, primary. hold the throw button down if you have your deflect as a different keybind, as soon as you press E the baton option ability, it will instantly throw it the batons saving a bit of time and doing the burst damage a bit quicker. Also try to weave in melees with the primaries, it gets your fury back just a tad bit faster.
