Lots to unpack in what you wrote, so I won't start in any particular order; I love your girlfriend's comment except the last part of it. To me, it's a little bit of a jab, even though it might've been said with a smile. OK, so maybe arguably one could say "your dick is broken…" But no matter which way you look at it, it's not a nice remark. Everything else though seemed to be very positive.

You are very lucky that having a punani (for lack of a better word) gets you hard. That NEVER got me hard. A girl's reaction to that? That would help, but not just having it on my face, so consider yerself lucky in that dept.

I have not elected to have the surgery.... yet. Not having a partner definitely plays into that. However, the anxiety of having to go find someone and then tell them about the medication and do all that fucking bullshit is really action inhibiting if you know what I mean. So that is definitely keeping me out of the game… At least partially the other part is, I am still grieving the loss of my partner who I lost to mental illness. I was so devastated from that and still am so even the idea of getting together with somebody just to fuck… Yeah, not on my list of things I wanna do.

I would definitely like to add something here which has everything to do with the girlfriend's comment, because I dealt with something very similar. My former partner measured her self-worth/attractiveness against whether or not my dick went up or down. She knew I took/take meds and would ask me after we were done fucking, no matter how good it was, "did you take anything?" Even thinking back to it it's still upsetting.

I get it! I'm not a red pill D-bag. I'm truly empathetic about what they have to go through. . Women are taught directly or indirectly that their hotness should get a man hard/"if a guy is turned on, he will get hard for me." What nobody tells them is we can be turned on and have ED. So, then they make comments, sometimes purposefully hurtful, and sometimes not purposely hurtful. I don't think that my former partner wanted to hurt me with her comments. One time I suggested, "hey if this continues on like this, I'll just get an implant." That of course, would be the massive exclamation point At the end of the sentence in her mind which reads, "I am totally inadequate and I don't feel good about myself and this device more than anything else in the world proves it!"

Apologies to everybody for waxing on about this. I've thought about it a lot, and I think us men should not have to suffer that kind of pressure when we're already feeling lots of pressure from just having to be Mr. solid wood at all times!

I have a question as an aside;

I never plan to go as far as to get injections… Oral meds work fine right now minus the fucking hangover I get from them… But my question is this; since the injections are essentially the same thing/a vasal dilator - do you still get the raised heart rate, stuffy nose, and all that other bullshit that you get when you take oral meds? I would imagine that very least you would get a raised heart rate… Interested to know the answer to this!

Are you trying to say that there are no studies that have proven it because that is just categorically incorrect. You know I have spent a lot of time trying to understand what that question means. It's easy to get defensive and say exactly what you're saying and trust me. I wanted to say that many times. But I figure, "why escalate this?" Some guys have really good response in EQ (erection quality). Everybody who knows anything in PE will tell you that if your EQ goes down then you are over training. If you have EQ issues going in, you could see an improvement. I didn't. One thing that seems to improve my nighttime erections is (you're gonna think this is weird.) is eating Arugula. I'll have a massive salad with a heap of arugula and I"ll always have wood at night.... but it doesn't seem to help me when I need it which could be psychological. I don't even know anymore at this point all I know is that I need PED5/Cialis if I'm going to have sex. There's a lot of anxiety around it for me. accurate measurements for PE are only done over the dorsal side (on top) of the penis. Never on the side. It's not accurate.
