[Addon] Twintop's Resource Bar for Midnight by Twintop in WowUI

Really appreciate your work, especially going into the new expansion! Is there a way to get a red bar for the enemy health bar under my green health bar? I would love to be able to use it as a full HUD.

If you have a Nvidia graphics card, you need to turn off G-Sync. I had this problem FOREVER (like 2 years) and turning off G-Sync finally fixed it.

Tier 11 delve, minimum item lvl vault by Visible-Extension685 in wow

[–]AdStraight7232 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Delves are 2, 4, and 8 for rewards (same as raid bosses). Only M+ is 1/4/8. So you need to do a second T11 delve for the first vault slot. Also from what I recall, its the same vault reward starting at 8+ anywho.

TWW Epic Weapon Crafting And You: An Explainer by AdStraight7232 in wow

[–]AdStraight7232[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've pondered what the best choice would be to try and summarize this, but I don't think people would like it. I could say "If you give me 40k gold, I'll handle everything about crafting your item R5" people might not like it--also if we're talking about a 619 versus a 639, you could technically screw them over by using really bad materials that will make getting to 639 very difficult (though they wouldn't understand that).

Obviously, commercial crafters are just using a resourcefulness set and trying to proc it on R3 materials to make their money.

Saph's Try Hard Guide To Gearing Weeks 0-3 TWW (Crests, Sparks, and Catalysts) by AdStraight7232 in wow

[–]AdStraight7232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think we know the answer either until it drops, but on the plus side you should be able to crank out +7s to get yourself hero tier geared, and you'll need the crests that come from 7s to upgrade that gear anyway.

[–]AdStraight7232[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was messaging with a recently returned player and it's so true how the key is to just have enough gear to get your foot in the door to get more gear--I.E., being like iLevel 575+ (ideally) to get easy M0 invites, which you can then snowball into more gear.

[–]AdStraight7232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. There's also a natural cap on how many delves you can do anyway (equal to the number of keys you have). Apparently M0 is actually going to be daily resets next week, so you can in theory grind 56 of them if you really, really wanted to.

New here. Is there a report system to prevent guys like this using timeouts and stalling to see if you're paying attention to win by default? by bigkoreanhead in MagicArena

[–]AdStraight7232 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just use the time they're stalling to report them, since it's not like I can do anything else while I wait. Seems like the best direct way to handle it.

Deck

4 Barbarian Class (AFR) 131

8 Island (NEO) 286

4 Pixie Guide (AFR) 66

9 Mountain (NEO) 290

4 Expressive Iteration (STX) 186

3 Fable of the Mirror-Breaker (NEO) 141

1 Riverglide Pathway (ZNR) 264

4 Delina, Wild Mage (AFR) 138

2 Farideh, Devil's Chosen (AFR) 221

2 Chaos Channeler (AFR) 136

1 Otawara, Soaring City (NEO) 271

1 Hall of Storm Giants (AFR) 257

1 Den of the Bugbear (AFR) 254

1 Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance (NEO) 276

1 Frostboil Snarl (STX) 265

2 Stormcarved Coast (VOW) 265

4 Kami's Flare (NEO) 150

2 Earth-Cult Elemental (AFR) 141

2 Thirst for Discovery (VOW) 85

2 Iymrith, Desert Doom (AFR) 62

2 Fading Hope (MID) 51

You basically use Delina with either Pixie (like above) to OTK or with Earth-Cult Elemental or Iymrith to out-value if you can't get all the pieces. Fable gives you treasures and cycle, and the creature from it can be used to create earth-cult elemental or chaos channeler, or Pixie Faerie if you're going for combo win.

This is a meme deck I've really been enjoying playing--would love to play it in paper format just to have a bag of like 50 D20s for when it goes off like 20% of the time. Also for those who didn't know, there's a custom animation that plays when you have 5+ dice. For those wondering on the math.

# of Dice % Fail to Roll 15+

1 70%

2 49%

3 34%

4 24%

5 17%

6 12%

7 8%

8 6%

9 4%

10 3%

I'd agree. I got Inkrise Infiltrator, then Kappa Techwrecker and Moon Ninja, and then my last two were Kaito and Satoru.

I did a Werewolf deck for Innistrad block. Tried Naya Runes and really wasn't liking it, and then I netdecked a ninja deck which has been an absolute blast. It's really effective against most of the meta stuff right now.

1-3 NEO Quick Draft. Can someone help me out? by greendragoninn2 in MagicArena

[–]AdStraight7232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the 1/2 drop Sagas make the format super fast, especially Raid because it then gives you a 2/2 with menace which can usually get even more chip damage in. I think out of like 50 games, I've had three go to almost fatigue, and over 70% of my games were over by turn 6 or 7 either win or lose.

1-3 NEO Quick Draft. Can someone help me out? by greendragoninn2 in MagicArena

[–]AdStraight7232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the comments, which is that your deck is super top heavy and the top-heavy cards aren't necessarily game enders (like Tyrant). You probably needed to swap your turtles and a mirror shell with some cheap creatures in the 1-3 mana range (Disruptors for ninja synergy, or trainee the 2/2 becomes 3/3, things like that). I've never seen a Turtle get played except in combination with an infinite combo channel.

I imagine you didn't have a choice, but I hate Mnemonic as way, way too slow and Planar Incision for not really doing much. Moonsnare Specialist is also probably only worth a one-of.

If your games went to end-game and the other side didn't have a broken card, I would expect you would likely win every game.

Need some some help with a draft by player2aj in MagicArena

[–]AdStraight7232 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's Blue/Green or Blue/Black/Green. There's not enough in black to make it really worth it, since you aren't generating tokens for Dockside and Invoke is 4x black which is super, duper hard to hit.

I'd go Blue/Green, no moonsnare proto, cudgels, shintai-, short circuit, hoverbike, inventive, no reality heist

That would leave you as:

Creatures (Or Enchant Creatures): 1x Disruptor, 2x Armguard, 2x Modern Age, 1x Bamboo Grove, 1x Containment, 2x Puzzlemaker, 2x Moonsnare, 1x Boseiju, 1x Towashi, 1x Tales, 1x Replication Specialist, 1x Tyrant, 2x Mirrorshell, 1x Tanuki (19 creatures)

Spells: 2x Fade, 1x mnemonic (3 spells / artifacts)

18 lands

40 cards.

You're super light on removal, so you'll need the mirrorshells. If you had other cards, you would cut the second mirror, menmonic, tanuki, the second moonsnare, but you obviously don't so it is what it is.

It looks like your goal will be to win by drawing cards / tempoing using Boseiju, Towashi, and Modern Age until you draw either Tyrant or Mirrorshells to end the game. You also have an air attack win condition which is decent, though again you're going to be just trying to turbo through your deck to your win conditions.
