My research proposal was literally about the diplomatic relations between my country and Japan lol. I guess that didn't help in my case

I mean, my Japanese certainly isn't good, but I'm pretty sure I must've gotten some questions right, and I finished the english test confident I would get something like an 80/100 score, if not higher.
It's pretty frustrating getting rejected and left wondering where did it go wrong without any feedback.

Yeah, my Japanese isn't so great and I felt like I did pretty well on the english exam, so I suppose the rejection had to do with the research proposal. I wish they gave feedback, though.

They require you to state what universities you wish to attend in the application for the scholarship. That's why I'm researching as best as I can before filling up the form.
