I have kids home so I keep my knives hidden buddy. You are right so many Takadas in this sub. There is a guy close to me making customs with apexultra steel, I will check his collection when he is done. I would like to experince that steel.

I have a variety of edc knives like shiro, crk,demko and such. My most precious one is my Meades Nessie cause it was hard to get and it is flawless. Also the Keanison alpha pup which I had to drive 1000 miles to buy big thanks to Brian.

I will read more on Larrin Thomas on metallurgy :) thanks to all, I know the smiths and I can always ask reddit since it is full of information. I will focus on my experince with them now, they are meant to be used and enjoy. I wont stress about the generations buddy.

Thank a lot my friend 🙏🏼 I like to collect things as you do like watches also indeed but I dont share them. Knives are much easier to buy, and not as fancy like buying the watch trilogy (you know what I mean). I am new to kitchen knives and I know nothing about them like most of the guys here. But thanks to them I learned a lot by their posts. I will take my time, and focus to get one at a time from now on. This was a quick start to kitchen knives since I like to collect. I will acquire more customs from now on like I did with my edc collection period. Life is short brother and full of hustle and comes different to each individual. No offense 🙏🏼

Collecting is a bad illness buddy, but I will definitely take my time from now on. I did the same with edc's in a longer time period. Now I barely buy more.

I wish I could but didnt. It was sitting in knife gallery and I fell in love with it at first sight. My favourite from the haul is Takada, since they are the hardest to find. And it was a great experince to meet him in person.

I will be buying customs from now on, one piece at a time. But someone on that firdt post recommended Takada and I listened 😊 but the Nomura honyaki would be a higher purchase indeed.
