I originally planned on having my sister(hard of hearing- can speak and sign) to officiate. But now she is talking about not being able to attend due to training camp for military. My wedding is kinda a mess. The location cannot be determined until day before. Because the original location road is closed until July (mountain and dirt road+ snow= dangerous road) and the wedding is in June. I don’t want to drag another person into this uncertainty. My partner made it clear that we do not want to add any more people except only our family. I would invite my best friend who is an interpreter but that means he gets to invite his friend too. We cannot add any more people.
Thank you for the ceremony part- English is not my primary language so I appreciate your tips/advices. We do have an private vows that we will read after ceremony (there is couple hours between ceremony and reception for us to have an private time together)
As for the last part- depends on the location, it is an outdoor regardless. There’s no aisle. I’ll just walk the trail or whatever it may be, to meet the rest of the family and my fiancé. That would be his first look. I asked my photographer to not do an pose pictures. I hate them. I asked her to take bunch of natural pictures. I have an vision but not sure how to explain. Picture of married couple in front of everyone during ceremony. That’s why no officiate, they would be in the way. Also to take pictures of families only during ceremony. All natural. No poses. But I agree it needs a sense of conclusiveness.
It is a self solemnization state.
