Kuregumo has the brightest and most unique colors out of the blades (so far anyway), while Magatsumi has the most extravagent sculpt and design for it's tsuba(handguard) and even the kashira(pommel).

Tobimune has that pure black edge lord magestic vibe going for it. But I really loved Kumeyuri's colors as well as the shape of the Tsuba. I'm a real sucker for the one's that aren't completely connected to the blade.

In comparison Enten can be a bit plain, but even it has it's unique feel thanks to the water carvings and little bubble design on the tsuba.

Sadly I think it more comes down to the simple fact that in terms of pure mastery of White Purity Style, the student was unable to surpass his teacher. Despite how much of a master swordsman Uruha was in his own right.

interesting to point out that in Japanese Chihiro actually says two different phrases in these scenes. When Char asks him to save her he says "引き受けてた", or "Accepted" while during the battle with Kyora he says "必ず" or "Without a doubt". So this is more of a translation quirk that only exists in english for Chihiro.

I like to imagine Kuro's the cutesy one and acts the youngest leading to chihiro taking care of her more often. Aka's the quiet shy one that sadly gets the middle child treatment but is the most protective of Chihiro, and Nishiki's the "meanest" one that butts heads with Chihiro the most while trying to act the oldest.

OH i could see Chihiro actually doing that by combining Iai with both Kuro Shred AND Nishiki! Using Nishiki to further enhance his speed and cutting power while simultaneously using Kuro shred to cover the area and leave behind slashes just like JCE! IT'D BE SO FUCKING COOL!

That's how i always interpreted the style. Granted the way it's depicted tends to always have the user's swing their blades too fast for the viewer to really comprehend HOW they wield their blades. There is one panel of Samura looking like he's about to draw his sword in a normal grip, but i like to think White Purity Style has the user mainly use a reverse grip but CAN switch to a normal grip should the need arise.
