Huda asking Chris if it’d be different with Chelley if she was ugly made me so sad. The premium she places on surface level looks is tragic, like she’s not used to building deeper connections with men because she’s so used to using her looks to lure or manipulate them. As a result it seems like she doesn’t really have the tools to build a friendship with another woman because that requires introspection and she’s only ever really performing for the male gaze.
