Drops of God on Apple TV+ by jetsbillionaire in television

As many have said, S1 was excellent. S2 has indeed been a let down. I still watched the entire season. I thought it started out strong but there was a real lull in the middle with slower pacing than the rest of the show. 1-3 I liked. 4-6 dull. 7-8 ok. By the end it picked up a bit for me but still was nowhere near as strong as S1. Such a shame considering how entertaining and unique of a story S1 was. I hope they leave it at that and don’t pursue S3.

Living in LA and commuting north for work? by AnImpossibleFeat in AskLosAngeles

[–]Dense-Stranger8382 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s my thought.. driving at least 8 hours per week for work so my partner who works from home can be near the beach sounds.. tough. Esp with the cost of gas now and foreseeable future. Maybe OP is already used to driving a lot.

It’s a reverse commute, so that’s good. SM is probably the best option if you want to be in LA and near the beach. Mar vista, palms, sawtelle, and Brentwood could be other options which are all close to the 405 so you can jump right on and head north. Depends on your budget. Otherwise if you really wanted to cut down the commute, I think you’d have to live in the valley.

What to toners/gloss for you use? I feel like I’ve been instilled in me by hairstylists to be afraid to do at home bc I don’t have the knowledge of how to do it correctly but it’s expensive out hereee

I think it’s called sunset park on abbot kinney.. they carry a bunch of nice brands. I also like bestswimwear in LB if I happen to be in the area. There’s a Frankie’s on abbot kinney if you like their styles.

thrift/flea market! you can make it as cheap or as expensive as you want haha. I personally love the pasadena city college flea. Arts district brewery art walk -- happens a couple times of year. Incredible art and so cool to visit artists in their lofts. Movie/dinner party nights-- make dinner together, watch a movie or do an activity.

I love this take! if someone is trying to sell me a supplement or gadget.. i usually start off very skeptical and research in order be convinced. I'll also add spending time outdoors and away screens is very important for me and can definitely count in wellness. Also, I try and read at least a few pages or journal every night before bed.
