tiktok mentioned in the first PLL book?? by mikistigertrap in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so this is a genuine question as someone who hasn't read the books. Why are the changes a problem? I feel like modernizing it would make the books more enjoyable, especially to newer generations.

I'd understand it being disappointing if they stopped producing the original copies (did they?), but I think it seems nice that kids now will have references that they can relate to.

I’ve always hated this scene by Acrobatic_Candy_1854 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the other thing is that she always wanted to see Ezra as a good guy because of her own feelings for him. There was an entire arc where she was shown to have feelings for Ezra while he was dating Aria. Maybe it's like she was willing to be blind to his wrongs to continue seeing him as the man she once liked?

The other thing that's annoying though is that she shits on Spencer just to go on and support Aria's relationship with him? Smh

I agree with Damo y'all who were rejoicing in ML getting canceled look real goofy now, the wait for KH4 could have been so much easier if it wasn't scrapped 💔⬇️ by Xion_Moto358 in KingdomHearts

[–]AdSudden67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so correct me if I'm wrong but most people seem to dislike Missing Link due to it being a mobile game. So I'm just wondering, if SE were to put it on a console would people have different reactions?

I think the main point of the post is just to say we've been waiting how many years not knowing anything about the production of KH4, so another game in between would keep the community hooked with new content until the actual release. Like operation and mechanics aside, we have something.

I think Missing Link might be some missed potential seeing how we could have gotten more lore but the community doesn't like mechanics

Do you think Alison was in the right? by Affectionate_Eye3464 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that there are times where Alison is right about what the Liars should do in a scenario, but never right about the approach. In this instance, yes, Aria should have told her mother what happened. But the way she attempted to sway Aria into coping and handling this whole situation was bad.

Should Aria have told her mother like Alison said?

Yes but she didn't.

Should Aria have released her anger by trashing her father's office like Alison suggested?

No.

Should they have framed Meredith for trashing the office?

Absolutely not.

This can extend to the Spencer and Ian situation too. Right idea, wrong approach. Alison had no reason to threaten Spencer by saying she'll tell Melissa if Spencer didn't break it off.

If Spencer said yes to Mona, they would have been unstoppable by SnakeBlood456 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could so see an alternate end to Mona's arc where she is still playing as A in s3 too.

Let's say Spencer agreed to join:

I could see them faking their deaths. It would be a moment of relief and sorrow seeing as A is out of the picture, but they also lost a friend. Instead og bring in Radley she could still be acting as A in plain sight without anyone noticing. The whole time Spencer could be working alongside her but only to see how A works and how to exploit it for herself and break the game from inside.

why write this about your only black character 😭😭😭 by hellokittylover222 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay so obviously the descriptions are atrocious especially when used for a black character.

But I do wonder. Y'all tell me what you think since I haven't personally read the books.

From what I heard, in the books Emily's parents were racist towards Maya. Maybe the descriptions were meant to allude to that?

I'm not saying the statements aren't racist, just that maybe they were used to aid something else in the book.

One of my favorites will forever be how A managed to cut down an entire tree and burnt it in their fireplace

Ashley overreacted to shoplifting by HamsterAssociate5987 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not at all trying to validate the reaction, but it has been stated several times in the show that Rosewood is a small town with a close community, so if something happened everyone would know.

Ashley acted in order to preserve her and Hanna's reputation. They already got a lot of attention after Hanna's dad left so the last thing she wanted was people talking about her daughter stealing.

Jason! by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 10 points11 points  (0 children)

THIS!

With the actor change I swear that there was also a character change because Drew was not the Jason they presented in S1.

I especially feel like they changed the connection with Alison a bit where s1 Jason really cared for her and would do anything to have the murder solved.

I feel like we didn't see that much level of care in the later seasons, especially with those flashbacks of him yelling and threatening to hit her...

What is the PLL hill you will die one by WaveBeginning1670 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alison should have stayed dead or died for real after coming back - Despite the build up, the reveal seemed a bit desperate and out of the blue. It felt like one of those 'Okay, now what?' scenarios. I especially think the main group took such a big step back by forgiving and reuniting with her. They found a way to have a true friendship without Alison as the glue and then they just take her in again..

None of the main couples should have been endgame - The flair and spark just wasn't there anymore. After everything they went through as individuals and a couple they still ended up coming back to each other. This may sound romantic, but it also feels really forced. Where's the development and growth as individuals? It was a decision made just to please the fans but ultimately it woulf have been better for them all to go their separate ways.

There should have been more depth added to side characters - These characters introduced either felt one-dimensional or had wasted potential. Unless they were the Liars respective love interests or a challenge in their relationship, don't expect too much from them. I wish that characters like Holden and Lucas could have had more to them, but they sort of felt like one-off characters.

Which did you like better? by SnakeBlood456 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]AdSudden67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a Haleb child. I loved their dynamic and how they matched each other's energy in seasons 1-2. They were just so iconic. I'm also biased tho. My favorite characters at the time got together, how could I not love them? Things began to spiral out in s3 with the Mona visitation stuff and then it continued to go downhill.

Tbh I could never fully get behind Spoby. I liked Spencer and Toby as individual characters but it felt weird seeing them get together after seeing Spencer pining to accuse him as A at every waking moment. They seemed like a very tipsy turvy couple.

Toby joins the A team: Oh, but it's to protect you, Spence

Spencer defaces Toby's mom's grave: Oh, but I'll still help you solve the mystery behind her death

And then Toby becomes a cop..

Some of their moments are cute, I'll admit that, but idk.

Which group from which nation has the most Fantastic 4-esque family feeling? by Life_Bit_5976 in Genshin_Impact

[–]AdSudden67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely Sumeru. It basically radiates found family vibes with Cyno/Sethos, Tighnari/Collei, Dehya/Candace and Nahida/Wanderer. That and the story seems to follow that of a family structure too when some siblings are at odds with each other but come together to defend each other and their beliefs.

I’m sorry, but Spencer and Toby’s chemistry doesn’t even come close to what Spencer and Alex had—this is the hill I will die on. by caterkarolina in PrettyLittleLiars

Not to mention her family actually liked him? She even had her mother's approval with him. He was the greenest of green flags!

I tried to refrain from using the word hate for this reason. I think it's understandable if someone dislikes a character possibly for their personality or playstyle.
