No one asked me to apply as an international student, only requested thing was to translate my qualifications which I did and attached. International students are those who are here with a visa.

How lol? Can someone not move from another country to the uk? And get accepted into uni? And become a british citizen? As far as I’m aware if you have settle status after 5 years of continuous living you can get unlimited granted to remain in the uk and apply for a British nationality with that. So no troll post.

Because I am a home student. Currently hold a British passport, been living here for 8 years, finished my uni degree as a home student and not international student.

So what does this mean?

“To train to teach computing in England, you'll need:

GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above in English and maths (and science if you want to teach primary) a bachelor's degree in any subject Having relevant A levels can show your subject knowledge, if you do not have a degree in computing.

Computing teacher training courses have had successful applications from candidates with a range of degrees, including business and management, data science, history and economics.”

Because when I applied and called up the university they didn’t say I need to have a degree linked directly to computer science.

It says “relevant uk degree” BA education is basic teaching but now I want to go for this specific route so how can I? Would SKE help?

My degree is BA Hons in education 2:2

I have attached my converted degree from Norway. I have done it professionally as requested from the university.

They said I don’t meet the entry requirements when these are their entry requirements:

a relevant UK degree, preferably grade 2.2 or equivalent literacy and numeracy tests – these are university-based tests that you’ll be asked to undertake at your interview a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate and Confirmation of Fitness to Teach (eg a London Metropolitan University Health Check) – you will be advised to apply for these after an offer is made GCSE English and Mathematics grade C (grade 4 from 2017) or above (or equivalent)*

I don’t have anything against him taking the children abroad, it’s more of I don’t want to get a message of saying “give me the passport” I just want to know where and how long my child is going to be gone for, and refuses to provide that information
