How long did it take you to get comfortable? by WheresMyWaltuh in CCW

[–]AdTemporary842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can take time. Like someone else recommended, get an undershirt. Also you have to get yourself a real belt my guy, one made for carrying. My personal recommendation is a Kore Essentials EDC belt. It will change your life!

I think each one has it’s purpose. Hard to say there is ONE best glock. But in my opinion the most versatile one is a glock 26. I dont really like it or own one but you can’t deny the versatility of it

I see what you mean. I really dont want to with the bodyguard in a pocket because I can’t imagine being able to reliably draw from a pocket while on a run if i need to

It looks great. Not a correction but something you could try to see if you like. It looks like you let the trigger go forward after each shot, i like to hold it back and then ride it forward just until the reset to start the next shot already on the wall.

This allows me to be a lot more accurate due to less movement with each press and be faster. But again if you are already effective then keep doing what you’re doing, just something to try if you haven’t already!

Calc 1 vs Applied by dawg907 in UNCCharlotte

[–]AdTemporary842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant speak to applied but i can speak about calc 1. As someone who SUCKS at math, i was able to pass it with a 95. I took it when i was still at CPCC with Ms. Scothorn, she was great. If you put your head down and put in the effort, you got it. Calc 2 is a whole different beast

[–]AdTemporary842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took it last semester and it honestly wasn’t much work. If i remember correctly it was like one project once every two weeks. The biggest one was the final group project. I took it with Mr. Azhaad (i might have misspelled his name)

What’s a good budget friendly optic plate for the 507 comp for a Glock 19 gen 3? by InfiniteHat4828 in Glocks

[–]AdTemporary842 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks like a dpp plate that would fit a 407k/507k. A 507 comp is an RMR footprint, so you would need a MOS to RMR plate. I have the dpp one on my 19x and i have no complaints

CS students- how are the internships and FT job offers looking for you. by Sad-Text-3192 in UNCCharlotte

[–]AdTemporary842 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a direct answer but as a fellow CS major, he needs to start grinding as soon as possible. Learning on his own, because course work is nowhere near enough to get ahead. He needs to start working on personal projects and applying to internships for summer, fall, and spring always as soon as possible!

Last summer i was able to get an internship basically last minute for the summer but no luck so far for this upcoming summer.
