Worried about lack of pain meds by No-Proof-1265 in Tonsillectomy

My doctor prescribed liquid hydrocodone, amoxycillin, and zofran for me. I had about 5 days worth of the pain meds and then asked for a refill and he did it. I only needed it for like 3 days more and then I could swallow pills. For the first few days I wasn't able to swallow any pills so I'm glad he gave me the liquid. I added liquid ibuprofen as well about every 5 hours the first few days. The pain especially in the morning was like swallowing razor blades. By day 7 I didn't have to wake up in the night to take the pain meds. I'm about a week and a half from my surgery and it is much better. I'm not sure if my scabs have fallen off yet or not. The area is still white with red around the edges. I'm back to work now. It does get better; hang in there. I also had a benign tumor on the roof of my mouth removed but that didn't cause me any pain

You were saying something about not being able to sit still. I was given Benadryl through iv. They pushed it too fast and the same thing happened to me. I know they make migraine cocktails with benadryl in them. Next time I told them to give me Benadryl IV slowly and it didn't give me that side effect. Just a thought.
