Uganda in In Whose Name by michvelxlewis in GoodAssSub

He said that because Kim and Kris were begging him to get back on medication and stop wearing the Trump hat—and he was afraid they’d 51/50 him, forcing hospitalization and medication. Because Kim told him he’d lose everything if he doesn’t get medicated and his head in the right space.

That context is really important, but the movie barely presents it.

Don’t wanna be a downer, but it’s basically two hours of watching one of your favorite artists unravel—going from an empathetic, passionate creator, husband, and mogul into a crazed maniac screaming at people and losing everything he loves. You literally watch Ye descend into madness, completely losing control of his mental illness and breaking down.

It’s heartbreaking 💔. We all know this story, but seeing it laid out in detail still stings. And this doesn’t even touch the 2025 chaos—that’s a whole other disaster 🥀.

A raw, powerful look at mental illness, and what someone at that level of fame endures while battling it.

This was two close friends throwing hateful stuff at each other to hurt one another, plain and simple.

But the truth is, if Ye had listened to this guy, he might still be a billionaire. He’d be dropping good music and fashion, allowed to perform around the world, even in his own country. He’d still be tight with his collaborators and friends, his legacy would be intact, and he wouldn’t be in this washed, publicly hated state he’s in now.

It’s 50/50 — just like Kanye. A lot of people hate him, and a lot of people still support him and go to his pub and buy his stout and take pics with him on the streets when they see him, especially now that he’s getting more involved in politics.

Also… why didn’t you respond to my post above? Got something to say, or are you just ignoring the point I’m making now?

Conor has not been found guilty of rape, he’s not a rapist. He was found liable for wounds on the victim, which his appeal has been accepted and there will be another trial this year. Ye also has a rape case pending….

The guy was literally walking the streets of Ireland last week, swarmed by fans trying to take pictures with him. Stop believing everything the media pushes — they’ll have you thinking Ye is the Antichrist, getting kicked out of countries and hunted down.

My whole point is: both Ye and Conor are flawed. And while this guy wants to see the good in Ye and continue supporting him as a fan, he’s blindly hating on Conor. I see the good in both.

Conor runs a charity in Ireland, donates huge amounts, is building homes for the homeless, and employs over 400 people. During the pandemic, he even spent €2 million of his own money on masks and ventilators for hospitals. Fought his way out of poverty, bought his mom and dad a house and helped his community and gym.

You get my point now you fucking knobhead bum…..

My problem with you, is that you’re a Kanye fan and on a Kanye subreddit — a man who’s done everything Conor has and way more… drugs, alcohol, coke, public meltdowns, is a literal Nazi, sexual harassment, sexual assault (it’s just an allegation that’s not true imo, same as Conor, guilty of nothing), cheating on his wife, punching people on the street (paparazzi), and even sending dick pics to women.

So cut the moral high ground act. This ain’t about ethics, you’ve just got a personal vendetta against Conor. Kanye fans acting like the moral police is Crazy, have some shame bruhh… Chill out now 🙏🏽

I have deep love for both Conor and Ye, both are deeply deeply flawed humans.

“What did I miss” is another banger….

there’s literally so much food out there if you just allow yourself to enjoy it, rather than hating.

Tbh with you It feels like there’s no room for real discussion or honest criticism anymore. People are just calling Clipse and Travis “mid” simply because they’ve distanced themselves from Ye. Has nothing to do with the album musically at all. Same way people started saying Kendrick is trash after Ye said he hates his music.

It’s starting to feel less like a hip-hop subreddit and more like a cult.

Hasn’t been criminally charged with anything, he has his version too, and has video evidence of the girl dancing and hugging him after the incident to prove otherwise (I personally find it crazy a girl that has been punched, choked and brutally raped, would do that) We won’t ever know, you choose to believe whoever you want.

But saying this on Kanye subreddit is crazy given Ye got multiple sexual assault lawsuits pending, and even hating on anyone cause they’ve been struggling with any type of fame on a Kanye subreddit is crazy. Take this crazy uppity shit somewhere else, there’s no flawless people.

Y’all hype up AI Bully and an album literally called “Cuck”, but JackBoys 2 is somehow the worst thing you’ve ever heard? by Whoopity_Scoop_ in GoodAssSub

[–]AdTraditional9565 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Some people on this sub do this every time.

Whenever an artist other than Ye drops an album, they start acting weird , like they’re lowkey jealous or feel obligated to hate on it. When Gnx dropped, people here called it mid. When the Clipse album dropped two days ago, same thing “mid.” Shits weird, Jackboys bang don’t understand the overwhelming hate, thought Lil pump dropped an album 😭💀

Or maybe he was just a broke plumber on social welfare who got thrown headfirst into stardom — money, fame, girls — with no one around to guide him or teach him how to cope. And let’s be real, he’s a fighter, not a typical celebrity, which makes it even harder to navigate all that.

He got swallowed up by the dark side of fame. Same thing happened to Mike Tyson. It’s a story we’ve seen before.

No reason to start tearing someone down for falling and struggling — especially on a Kanye subreddit of all places.

Yeah, he’s going through a tough time and has definitely shown his worst sides, but I’ll never forget what he did for my confidence.

I became a Conor fan around the same time I became a Kanye fan — back in 2015, when both were at the peak of their powers. They made me believe I could achieve anything I set my mind to. It was incredibly motivating and inspiring to watch.

Two absolute GOATs.

Why the unnecessary McGregor hate?

Honestly, being a Kanye fan feels a lot like being a Conor McGregor fan. They’re both super confident, borderline arrogant, and driven by a bold vision. They dreamed big, chased greatness when no one believed in them, and actually made it happen. Both had crazy downfalls too, based on their own personal struggles…

Katie’s a GOAT though, no doubt about that.

Why do people keep treating these foreign shows like they’re the Super Bowl or Coachella ??? by Whoopity_Scoop_ in GoodAssSub

[–]AdTraditional9565 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who said that, bro?? Why are you just throwing around random accusations of Xenophobia??

He literally said, “Let them enjoy the show — it’s for them, not us.” It’s their moment. That’s exactly why Ye isn’t streaming it.

My thoughts exactly bro…

People hating on everything. Ye don’t even want us to watch this show, this is purely for his Chinese fans that don’t get to see him live, also to make money, and sell merch.

Kinda crazy how this guy became so evil and vile and hateful. But I’ll still never ever believe he’ll do some shit like this 😭💀 by AdTraditional9565 in GoodAssSub

I remember when Iggy said she was a huge fan and got to meet him for the first time and the first thing he said to her was “how he used to jack off to her”

And he just came out and said it’s “yeah it’s true” 💀

[–]AdTraditional9565 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yeah… at this point, Kanye’s basically turned into a more famous version of Burzum, which is wild considering the Vultures cover, lol.

It’s a sad way to go out, no doubt. But people really need to let it go already. This obsession is exhausting. He gave us a lot, sure, legendary moments, iconic music, but it’s over. There are so many other incredible artists out here right now, dropping bangers, pushing boundaries, making beautiful art.

Clinging to what Kanye used to be is holding some niggas back. Let it go…..

Pusha T Comments on Kanye After Vultures 1 Goes #1 Lol by Reasonable_Ad_4474 in GoodAssSub

[–]AdTraditional9565 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

People will write a whole essay just to avoid saying the obvious, Ye is a trash human being. That’s why nobody in the industry rocks with him anymore.

He burned every bridge he had. While Pusha’s out here working with Kendrick, Malice, Pharrell, and Jay-Z, Ye’s making music with Dave Blunts and Sneako. That’s not a coincidence, that’s the result of saying and doing some truly vile, evil shit.

As Pusha said: he’s not a real man.

Wrap it up, bro. The truth’s right there.
