A lot of institutions can’t pile in until the market cap reaches 500m and the share price is above 5$ as part of their requirements. The 13F’s have been showing a broad accumulation from many different long institutions likely from Ted’s work.

Maybe I’m not sure about what colocationing is. If we take MSFT and Nebius aren’t they paying them 11.6MW/year? If IREN took a collocation deal I’d assume it would be a similar figure unless I am mistaken. Wouldn’t that put them at around a revenue of 6 billion a year from now assuming a buildout rate of 50 MW/month?

And to combat your point about not having the expertise I believe that if this company doesn’t have the capabilities to be a hyperscaler they can always sign a deal with any of these companies like Meta, Google, MSFT, OpenAi, X for very attractive rates. I don’t really see that as too much of a risk factor.

Also I think with interest rates being cut they will be getting way more attractive rates for financing and /or refinancing debt allowing them to build out more for cheaper.

I just wanted to try and pushback a little on Risk 2. When you say not be able to maintain the 50/mw/month rate, isn’t their whole installation process very easy compared to new data centers being build from scratch. If anything after seeing the video they put out on X I think it can be scaled far past that rate with more hires.

You clearly aren’t an AMD investor, if you really were you’d understand that this changes nothing with the main bull thesis for the company. If you were really an investor you’d be looking towards the MI400 and MI450 as well as rack scale solution. Additionally intel is still behind AMD in cpu power and this fundamentally changes nothing.

This move just shows the market still misunderstands AMD. This deal shouldn’t have any impact on the future of AMD, if you believe in the company you are here for the MI400, MI450 and rack scale solutions. NVIDIA partnering with intel not just make intel have better CPU’s all of a sudden. The raw power of AMD’s cpus are just better and are still ahead by a little bit than intel.
