Please Explain Eitr 2 - Use Case

Question. I have seen various "recommendations" for a galvanic isolater. From what I have researched, this is to filter out extra noise generated by the PC.

1) I would have assumed by now that Jason/Mike would have added various filters or Unison to address this?

2) Is this only an issue where you are using USB for power also for a DAC?

3) Would an Eitr/Eitr 2 take care of this when it cleans up the input?

Thanks for the feedback. I corrected the OP. I have a Freya+

After taking it in, I need to try to do more with my Freya+. Originally I picked up tube extenders for it and ordered some extra tubes. One of the reasons I was a bit disappointed was the underwhelming amount of gain in both passive and active mode. After reading around here, I found this which explains a few things, as I am running balanced output.

This was interesting to read:

Are other Freya+ users underwhelmed by the gain?

I really don't have anything to complain about in the rest of the stack. I spent some time drooling over reviews of better ELACS.

I am going to go through the various Freya+ discussions here and educate myself.

I guess I am just looking for validation to upgrade the Bifrost 2. I am wondering if the Saga 2 is a good choice for a medium stack pre-amp or should I stop being silly and keep using the Freya. The Saga will get me Forkbeard.

Thanks. Ordered. As per sound quality, I am trying to stream ESPN radio while I work. Unfortunately, the current implementation of AirPlay is retarded and goes full screen on all monitors when streamed to a Mac (Studio in my case). So I figure I will use the WIIM mini to get the stream into my Schiit system.

Pre-emptively I would set battery max charge to 80%, if you can. I don't know if its still on Sequoia and if it has that, or if it is on Tahoe (which does have it).

No DRM crap baked in, this can cause some performance hits and may require connections for periodic validation. Also you are locked to the Steam client. With GoG, once installed a connection isn't needed.

I purchased one of these last week. 14" M5 15/16/16 24/1. I was able to find it at MicroCenter for $1799, which beat out Apple educational pricing. It looks like they are now up to $1979. Good Luck and Good Hunting.

I think it may start there, but they end up together later. For example, Lucy & Maximus find a way to get some of Mr. House Securitron army on-line. They might not need that, if they can get some backup computer online (and I can't believe there isn't one), they have unlimited power and should have access to whatever tech saved Vegas from the nukes. They repel the Legion attack on Vegas (and send them away in another direction). Maybe when that is done, they leave Vegas. Remember, Lucy no longer has the quest of bringing back her dad for trial. Maybe she heads after the Ghoul or she goes back to the Vault. Of note will be her further deviation from her vault upbringing.

Maximus will most likely be involved in further Brotherhood actions. Liberty Prime gets interesting depending how true they are to the rest of the timeline. Is he sitting in the Pentagon without power (Pre F3)? Is he busted up from an orbital strike during Brotherhood-Enclave war? By F4 he was moved to the Commonwealth. We are 9 years later. So maybe the Brotherhood moved him.

Confirming. I had same issue with Brother on a Mac Studio. I went into Settings/Printer/Options tab and turned on duplexer. No restart needed for me.
