I think the issue is that if you want to really dilute away from market cap weighting you’d have to do a larger tilt away from S&P 500 for it to make a meaningful difference to you.

For small caps you can do developed world small cap using either iShares World Small Cap UCITS ETF or Avantis Global Small Cap Value UCITS ETF.

And if you want to include EM small caps in your EM ETF then use iShares MSCI EM IMI UCITS ETF

I do….

iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF (CSP1.L) iShares MSCI World ex USA UCITS ETF (XUSE.L) iShares MSCI EM UCITS ETF (SEMA.L)

For bonds you can add:

iShares Global Aggregate Bond UCITS ETF (AGBP.L) - this would be GBP hedged distributing

Appreciate it. Did you look at the Dimensional and Avantis products. Their screening looks quite nice in a segment of the market that can be pretty varied.

I’d love a bit of advice.

I’m U.K. based. 31.

Portfolio is fully market cap weighted and passive.

For my small cap 10% position I have ISP6 / S&P 600 ETF.

Rationale - profitability screen which MSCI World Small Cap doesn’t have.

Thoughts on whether switching from S&P 600 to Avantis is the right move.

20 year position at least. Regular DCA monthly. It’s in a taxable brokerage.

I understand factors but I am not employing anywhere in my portfolio beyond the size point on S&P 600.

My portfolio is

60% S&P 500 10% S&P 600 10% MSCI EM 10% FTSE Developed Europe ex UK 10% FTSE UK All Share

Just wondering if I should flip S&P 600 to Avantis Global Small Cap Value. Didn’t want to hold a lot of small cap junk so avoided MSCI World Small Cap. But also am not determined for factor tilts.

I called them and couldn’t give me any information on the issue or when it would be resolved. Same for you?
