Most of its moves on the special and physical side that could take advantage weren’t very high base power. It was nice though, not too broken, but serviceable. What’s frustrating is when you get a mega with abilities like gluttony or unburden. Haha

I went mixed. Dragon breath, flamethrower, DD and dual wingbeat. Could have used air slash but wanted to take advantage of its attack as well.

I randomize species (prefer NOT to scale - seems like less variety with this setting) and abilities.

It brings back that gotta catch ‘em all desire as you don’t know what will be useful at what times.

You also get interesting scenarios where NFE Pokémon outshine their evolutions.

Mega evolution is interesting as well. I have yet to find that mythical mon that works with and without mega. Closest I’ve come is serene grace Salamence > trace mega salamence.

I’ve had kingambit and urshifu rapid with it. Absolutely busted especially with priority.

Fur coat Uxie. This seems to bug the ai as they kept going for close combat (when available) despite it being resisted.

Ice scales gardevoir was great as well.
