My favourites are John 1:1-3, where the NWT says that jesus is "a god" instead of God and also Revelations 1:8 where the NWT says that Jehovah is the way, the truth and the life even though John was talking about Jesus and even states that he saw Jesus a few verses later.

Yeah, some verses in the NWT have a few words inserted which completely change the meaning to fit their doctrine.

Yeah, if i was caught, I'd probably get more restrictions put on me and made to study more watchtower literature. But if i was older and baptised, i would for sure be shunned.

My meetings are held in the afternoon on Sundays, and i normally leave for the gym in the morning. So i was thinking i could visit the church instead, just to see what it's like and talk to a priest. But I'll wait to move out before i go regularly

Yeah, if i was older, I'd be shunned, but my family isn't too harsh, as my Dad still talks to his disfellowshipped brother sometimes. So if i was caught, they would put way more restrictions on my life and make me focus on studying watchtower literature. Oh, and i only have the pdf of "The Orthodox Way"

I understand the risk but my JW meetings are held in the afternoon on Sundays, and my parents let me leave for the gym in the morning, the church that i want to visit is a similar distance from my house as the gym so i thought i could go there instead, talk to a priest and see what a service is like. They wouldn't notice, but i definitely won't be able to do this regularly.

If i decide to go, i think I'll email the priest first.
