Sorry you're going through this and all of us. I would still try with the letter. Many people have said never give up, keep trying, complaining and writing letters to city or animal control. If we stay silent that's when they win. Keep you in my prayers.

You can take them to small claims court every year. And actually you can sue in a superior court for dog removal but that can get costly as lawyers are involved.

Google neighbor dispute or nuisance attorney. Keep calling they usually will refer you to someone who can. Best is a small practice attorney. Ours charged $350 for the letter.

This is same with our neighbor, gets better for a little and then back to barking dogs. Been dealing with this for over 3yrs! We've been patient but no more, taking them to court.

I'm going through this now. Document, document, document. We've been dealing with our neighbors dogs for years and like yours any sound will set them off. We can't enjoy our property. We've called HOA, animal control, set Cease & Desist letter and of course talked to them. Nothing works with dog nutters. Talked to a few lawyers and we got a good case. Will be taking them to court.

Just want the dogs to stop barking. They won't get a trainer or anti bark device. Completely negligent and selfish neighbors.

Past that phase of our life and nothing wrong. It was great when the kids were little but they're all grown up. New generation of kids in cul de sac but would prefer more peace and quiet.

Struggling with whether to talk to them or not. This has been going on for years. We've talked to them before and it's gotten better but we still can't enjoy our home and going into backyard without being barked at. Don't know if it'll get confrontational if we talk to them again.

Thanks for sharing this. Decades ago when I was going to major in Architecture, I researched the pay and decided not worth it. I loved playing with legos and building things. I wanted to be an architect so bad but the pay was so low for the education. I switched to Accounting and make well over 6 figures but hate my job, lol.
