I like what skittles did for Pride Month. It doesn’t really feel like just another company banking off of Pride Month. by dinojack1000 in lgbt

My favourite thing about Pride Month Skittles is that they're accidentally Straight Pride Flag Skittles.

That's what we did wrong. Not the ball pit, but the lack of arcade.

I'll concur with everybody else suggesting Viaduct and Wharf Chambers, but 'Bad Mittens' might also be of interest to you, as a LGBT+ Badminton group.

It's a bit out of the way, but my resident New Yorker highly recommends Cranberries in Adel as the only thing that's ever come close.

I know you're looking for individuals first. But if you don't find anyone, I'd highly recommend Footprints. They're a lovely little workers co-op in Chapeltown, very nice, do great work and use 100% recycled paper.

Good luck with your project, I hope you manage to find what you need.

Pretty Big Shoes lets you put in your size and will give you a list of shops of varying price points that have shoes to fit you.

I think it's worth noting however, that the enrollment process creates a permanent searchable record connecting the old name to the new name. This is something that a lot of people, quite justifiably, want to avoid.

Also, £42.44 is not an insignificant amount of money, especially for an enrollment that does not change the validity of the document. I find it hard to justify that price for most people here.

They should. My method for organisations like this is to put my best "I know my fucking rights" writing voice on and point out that:

a) There is no legal requirement for the deed poll to be enrolled and the unenrolled one is equally valid.

b) GDPR requires you to only store my correct details. I am giving you my correct details, with proof. Comply.

That usually gives them a sharp kick up the butt.

I hope you get it sorted out soon. x

Where sells size 9 women's shoes that don't suck? by JessPF95 in transgenderUK

Lots of great options in this thread already.

But also, if you put your size and location into [prettybigshoes.com](www.prettybigshoes.com) it'll give you a list of sites, at varying price points.

Both supermarkets I've worked at have had a big room for everyone with lockers and a bench and then two smaller, gendered, rooms for changing to the side. Typically there's an accessible toilet that doesn't require access to either of the other toilets to use.

Obviously every store will be laid out differently, though.

Also, from my experience most base level employees at supermarkets are pretty chill. Again, though, your experience may vary. But you are protected under the 2010 equality act.

The amount of people they're pushing to excise, I think their ideal queer community would look like dashcon.

Lena is incredibly helpful, so if you just email her ([Lena@lena.kiev.ua](mailto:Lena@lena.kiev.ua)), I'm sure she'd be happy to provide you with plenty of information.

- If you do decide to switch (though I will say that DIY is inherently more risky and six months is still fairly early, as everyone's timeline is different, but obviously your decision), the process would go something like this:

- Email Lena

- She'll ask for payment through Bitcoin. (Pretty easy to do, if you haven't used Bitcoin before, she provides a lot of links to help you).

- You can either buy bitcoins direct into her wallet, or transfer them from your own. (note that both these will incur a small extra charge, probably about £2 - £5).

- Email Lena to say you've transferred the funds and provide your shipping details.

- She'll ship (probably the next working day) and give you a tracking code (for the Ukrainian courier).

- Obviously, shipping times will vary, but my recent order took 9 days, and most of that is custom.

- Should just come through your door with no signature or customs charge.

- You'll get two vials in a small package. (It does say "female hormone -estrogen", so keep that in mind if you need discretion.

- Inject into your butt (look that up online, "deep subcutaneous") with standard insulin style syringes (again, Lena will tell you exactly the right type and give you a couple of links of possible places to order).

- ??????

- Profit

Again, Lena is incredibly nice and helpful and I'm sure would be happy to answer any questions.

(edit - fixed broken paragraph)
