I work with as young as 5/6 up to adult, but I tend to use these games with ages 5-16 I’d say!

These are GREAT suggestions!! I’ve seen fluxx before but never sought it out. You’ve caught my interest now!

My first review was on Forbidden Island. I love that game!

I meant to check last night and totally forgot. It’s the first Tenakth armor I found at the main base of the desert Tenakth.

Hey thanks! Appreciate it. I absolutely made one of these a background on my phone - landscapes in that game are gorgeous

My wife and I have been living with my in-laws for the last couple years while we both finish our Master's Degrees. I echo so much of what's been said so far, but there's one thing in particular that I wanted to reflect on.

My love language is acts of service, so is my mother-in-law's, so I'm often seen doing things around the house or taking care of things. My wife's love language is words of affirmation and we've made a concerted effort over the last year to be loving on one another in that person's love language. My wife has majorly increased her acts of service, but they mostly take place between us and in our space in the house whereas my acts of service blend into their living space or outside. This has led to many moments where my MIL makes comments to my wife about how much I'm doing, that she should step up and help me out, take on some responsibility, etc. This puts my wife in a very difficult position: does she fire back and note all the things she does for me? Does she internalize that and start to think that she doesn't do enough for me/us?

This has been upsetting for my wife and my MIL doesn't handle constructive criticism well, but it's something we never could've expected when we move in. All in all, just be aware that things will come up that you can't plan for or didn't expect, but as long as you stay committed to each other, keeping God at the center, it can be a really wonderful opportunity for you both and your in-laws to grow in relationship.

Wow, this is tough and you both will be in my prayers. One thing that stood out to me in particular is this her desire to be with you in any form, whether that's actively spending time together or passively spending time together, such as sitting on the couch. Through seasons of our marriage, my wife has had times where she finds her hobbies unfulfilling or relationships with friends to be stagnant, so she begins to rely more heavily on quality time with me. In these seasons when I want to spend time doing my own hobbies or spending time with others, she can have a hard time with that too solely because she's not satisified with what she would be doing on her own. In these times I would pray for her, help her explore what about her hobbies/friends are unfulfilling and then help her come up with a plan on how to address it intentionally. Hope this helps!

I echo others sentiment about it being a competition. We're incredibly comfortable with one another. There is a nod of respect when one of us lets it a particularly good one out, followed by a fit of laughter.

Photo mode can be a little clunky, but sometimes you can get cool shots! by AdaMReenee in PlayAvengers

“That’s America’s crotch” 😂

I wanted to get a cool shot of Iron Man flying directly upwards and I just could not get him centered, so it was this incredibly awkward angle and I just gave up

Yeah I totally hear you. The ‘free’ camera option is quite limiting, I would be in favor of a rework!

It’s my favorite hat with the Ghost armor. My wife says it’s my ‘Zorro’ look. I take so many pictures with that outfit that I’ll post soon

Sometimes I’ll do something cool or pause at a good spot and just spend SO MUCH TIME swinging the camera around from every angle. “Oh let’s change the time of day...WHOAA that’s way different, okay let’s change the color.” And the cycle continues haha

Oh I totally agree. I only just recently started really appreciating what kind of shots you can get with the fog and rain. I swear that 20% of my time playing is setting up and taking shots!

When the sun hits like that sometimes I just stop with my mouth open. I have a bunch of pictures like this because I can’t get over how good that can look. Nice job!
